There is definitely a problem at knaphill, chairman has stood down, assistant manager has gone,as well as numerous players,is there no one from the club brave enough to come on here and tell the truth.

The ass manager was at the game yesterday on the bench ( ace face ) and the manager was there but not on the bench

We are brave enough to come on here. I posted a lengthy post in the previous thread about us.

Things have changed since then yes. Dave stepped down as the joint manager leaving Adie Wilson in sole charge, along with ‘Woody’ as first team coach. However, last week Woody was given a chance to take the first team assistant role at Camberley and wasn’t going to leave so that he could finish what he started with Knappers, but with Adie being the kinda guy he is, he told Woody to take the position as it was a chance to go higher and no one should deny anyone of that opportunity.

At the end of last week Terry stepped down due to work commitments and Dave Freeman was given the chance to take up the hot seat and accepted after his long spell over the years with the club.

Player wise, yes we’ve lost a few! You take the likes of Shelley (the best keeper in CCL1), Baker (one of the best forwards in CCL1), add to that the many other who for reasons such as personal, taking time away from the game or the likes of Mr Cardona who is moving to Croydon to live with his girlfriend (now at Warlingham, see you tomorrow mate!), then you’re going to struggle through a major rebuilding process! Add to that injuries like every team suffers, then the task in hand becomes very difficult! I know we’re not Premier league but you only need to look at the likes of Arsenal who are also in a similar position through player exits, injuries and now going through the transitional period of football. The team that started at Frimley Saturday consisted of one player who was in the line up in Feb time when the two sides met earlier this year, so that says how much change is happening. We still have the likes of Ricky Hogsden, Chris Fox, Alex Lumley and Joey Turner who are remaining from last season and have great quality that could walk in anywhere else. Add to that the new lads this season of Craig Woodley, Billy Wilson, Paul Weatherall and Craig Knowles who all have made a good impact in the squad, so we just need to work hard and the results will show!

Many people say the Guernsey game damaged a lot of players confidence, that’s possible, but at the same time we have some great quality at the club and we have shown signs of improvement but in patches. We now need to keep plugging away and starting to gel together on the training pitch to get this right. Adie and the rest of the lads won’t give in until we do, no matter what it takes!

This is just my opinion as I was bored of seeing the same ‘Oh Knaphill people always hide’ or ‘They only post when they win’ [****!!****]! Not a bite, just thought I’d post what’s been going on. I don’t remember Lammas getting a bashing last season when they were struggling or even Bookham early this season when they were tipped to bounce right back, but we’ll take it on the chin! ;)

Good post mate!

It is a real shame what's happening because it's such a good club. Great facilities, good backing, very professional, a good bunch of lads etc. No doubt that the talent is there but it just seems that when in a rut its hard to get out of and things don’t ever seem to go your way! No doubt things will turn around down there though! But of course after tomorrow’s match I hope! :D
