Whilst Bodkin is a good right sided player-his corner delivery is not a patch on WW's ,and WW can give us the occasional goal from a free kick (CK did want the midfield players to score goals ).

Above all,WW is by far the best midfield player we have out of an average bunch.

 

Don't lose him-just play him.

Delighted to see CK sign another midfield player in Ryan Johnson-who i know absolutely nothing about-so simply wish him well.

I don't think you can compare the players -(as when played in their best postions) they fulfill different roles in different postions.

As posted,i do believe that WW's dead ball delivery is vastly superior to Bodkins however.

 

To answer your second question-i would simply play one striker-as i posted earlier elsewhere-less is more (you will create more and then even Harry Redknaps missus could eventually score )

Bodkin is the best crosser of the ball we have had since Jackson. Wilson's setpieces were 1 good in every 8.

Hope Wayne finds another club pretty quickly if he has indeed asked for a move. Not good enough. It's a shame it's taken so long to work that one out. He's capable of flashes of brilliance, but any half-decent footballer is. It's not enough though.

Did`nt Wayne win our vote as fans player of the yr a couple of seasons ago . If im correct then how we change so quick from surporting him to wanting him out to another club . No disrespect to the new guy Ryan Jonson but how would you feel sitting on the bench whilst a lower league player who is unproven at this level takes to the field .

In my opinion the guy is quality and was one of our best players in past seasons. Seems to have been troubled with injuries more recently and judging by his non use on saturday clearly his face does not fit any longer. A shame.

We have been saying this for a while, seem you either have to have played for Chris at Dover or be friends with his son. Sadly Wayne doesn't fit into either of these categories.

 

I don't want to see Wayne go, but also don't want to see him sitting on the bench every week, it must be sole destroying for him. Chris bringing in another midfielder must have been the final straw for him. I just hope that he stays to continue the excellent work he has been doing within the Community else I'm going to have to very disappointed nephews.

 

I think Wayne does have a place in this team, lets face it the current midfield are hardly setting the world a light, Bodkin aside.

Very surprised Wayne not used Saturday. The game needed a player with his distribution skills to switch play.Hope he does not leave but gets the opportunity of being one of the first names on the team sheet again.

Absolutely-but robinson ,corneille and avery (a bit deeper ) should give enough solidarity with WW providing a modicum of creativity and 'flair':

 

Bodkin Corneill wilson Avery robinson

 

-and bradbrook as sole striker.

 

I know nothing about johnson,(is he a creative or holding type )but if he is good enough-then he replaces` one of the above-and to be fair-if he is better than wilson-its wilson who sits it out.

 

We also have stubbs and coleman of course.

Particularly rate stubbs-but to be fair it is a measure of the progress that CK is making, that maybe stubbs is now a sub though fantastic cover at full back and midfield.

Whilst i know nothing about him, i believe Johnson has played a fair number of games at ryman premier level for dartford in their championship winning season;and if we cast back 12 months-darren marsden-also from a similar background - did'nt do too badly for us !!

That giiven as per my post above-i similarly am surprised that WW is not making the starting eleven
