Well Done Spelthorne Sports !

iv been reading alot of these threads and alot of it is mentioning how many regular gfc players wasnt there. i have started to follow spelthorne this year and think over the 2games played against gfc spelthorne have slightly been the better team.

spelthorne have had 4 regular 1st team starters missing for the game, which included our top goalscorer jesse, jamie read who rumours have it he could be back next week to help lead the line, our captain simmo who is close to a return from broken arm and not forgetting full back dave. so its easy to blame result on players missing,but both teams had the same problem!

No Guernsey fan has made any excuses for our defeat and we don't blame the loss on players being missing. We had a strong team out so there'e no complaints.

just reading previous quotes. (greenlion) but ithink guernsey players/staff/fans where very humble and great to be around. i think this spelthorne team our finding there feet and will make alot of upsets. should of beat hartley, threw away the lammas game with 5 to go and bedfont last gasp equaliser from them. are they better than guernsey??? no way

I watched the spelly game vs bedfont you had 1 chance whole game taken well by jesse with a header we had numerous an played poorly tho we scored late on, on chances alone we should have done better in front of goal an should of won aston having three 1 on 1s but not even making pisani into a save

i think if we was watching the same game. if your honest newby you no u didnt deserve nothing. all im saying is guernsey are the best team iv watched so far against spelthorne and cant see you beating them

Well tigger your very blinkered then i never said we deserved to win or that wed beat guernsey spelly had one chance an took it we had numerous an only took one we were poor im an honest viewer of games that must mean now your the best in league as u beat guernsey oh but look were unbeaten still roll on guernsey i say look forward to playing them as i do any descent team

I personally thought spelly were better than expected in def perhaps coz simmo werent there lol an poor up top i expected better as had heard good things from others about ur frontline the game was a battle we look forward to the return as always tigger!! Ill get u a beer if you spectate !!

At the end of the day you play the team in front you regardless if its there 1st 11 or not,well done Spelthorne
