The question is why does the Ryman League site say Walton & Hersham V Enfield and have the defunct clubs badge?

Rudi was def lucky not to concede a PK as the footage shows!

More pictures and words on the cold end.

Summed up - In a Cup game, away from home... result and not the performance that counts really and a nice £2000 from the FA prize fund

Good Morning Everyone.

What a great feeling, on the morning after, to get up knowing our club is still in the FA Trophy competition.

Yesterday, I travelled to Walton for my first match of the season. To be honest, I.not sure what is worse, watching the game live or waiting for score flashes to come through !!

It was great to see so many old faces again, and the result was worth the journey. Steve made quite a number of changes, and that showed, particularly in the first half when, to be honest, the standard of our overall play was disappointing. There were a number of needless defensive errors at the back, one which led to their goal. The equaliser from Leon was one of the best strikes of the season, and it is well worth seeing again on The Cold End's clips of the game.

Thought we showed considerable improvement in the second half and always looked in control after Rudi put away the penalty which eventually decided the match. Walton had their moments, but over 90 minutes we definitely deserved the win and the £2000 prize money.

Our winning run continues. Well done Steve and all the players. Keep up the good work.

Walton & Hersham (1) 1 Ojukwu 8

Enfield Town (1) 2 Osei 29, Hall 62 (p)

Walton & Hersham started the brighter with Harry Smart coming close firing over early on.Things didn't get any better for Town when a mis-timed clearance from Phil Kane saw the ball fall for Kenny Ojukwu to rifle into the top corner. Smart then had another shot blocked and Mark Kirby did well to head a free kick clear following a foul on Josh Webb. The Swans seemed to be more likely to get a second and a nice step over from Ojukwu saw Webb's shot trickle just wide of Noel Imber's post. Town got back in the game from a sweetly struck free kick from Leon Osei. He cleared the wall finding the top corner with Swan's keeper Sheikh Ceesay only able to watch. It proved the boost Town needed and they finally got themselves going. Kane flashed the ball across the area from the right and Walid Matata looked to have beaten the off side trap, but failed to control the ball in the box. It was still far from one way traffic and Paul Olima could have restored the Walton lead but dragged his shot wide. Then two late chances saw Imber required to make saves. A mix up at the back saw a shot that deflected into his arms, then he did well to save from Ojukwu after Rudi Hall had lost possession.

The second half saw Osei heading over early from a Kane cross but Enfield were fortunate to escape a penalty appeal when Hall appeared to handle in the box. Still feeling aggrieved, Walton & Hersham were rocked when Ashlee Quashie made a needless challenge on Michael Ewang just inside the box and saw a penalty given. Rudi Hall converted from the spot giving Enfield the lead for the first time. The Swans never regained their early composure, picking up several bookings in the aftermath. They had a chance for an eaqualiser, with the ball bouncing round the Enfield six yard box, but Jerome Maledon fired wide. Kane was unfortunate to be hauled down as he ran on goal, but as the game wore on Town defended deeper and deeper. Graeme Purdey slipped Jordan Lockie, but the Town defender recovered in time to block the shot. Adam Wallace came on to add an extra edge to the Enfield attack and with Matata, chased everything up front relieving some of the pressure. A break down the right threatened the Town goal and Imber had to palm behind, Hall heading clear the corner. Wallace nearly finished the game off when he worked his way into the box, but tried to fire over Ceesay, but the keeper stood up to hold the shot. Wallace then had a shot blocked as Enfield looked to make the game safe. Liam Wright had chances to get a replay at least for Walton, but he was unable to beat Imber after a quick break down the left and late on, a good cut back from the bye line was intercepted as Imber prevented it reaching the danger zone.

Walton & Hersham: Sheikh Ceesay, Ryan Adams, Ashlee Quashie (Graeme Purdy 73), Stuart Derry, Richard Taylor, Victor Kiri, Jerome Maledon, Josh Webb, Paul Olima, Harry Smart (Liam Wright 65), Kenny Ojukwu (Reis Stanislaus 82).

Another report on the match can be found at http://cluelessillinformedandanidiot.wordpress.com/

I have looked at the video a few times of our Penalty incident and no way was it a 'blatant dive'.. their 3 made contact with Ewang and not the ball???
