What a pathetic display.

 

Well-beaten by an ordinary side who wanted it much more than us. I was situated near the bench for the 2nd half - precisely no leadership coming from there.

 

Swift constantly giving the ball away. Players at each others throats YET AGAIN. No change of formation when things aren't going well.

 

In the future, I will certainly by having second thoughts about spending nearly 30 quid travelling the country in order to watch that crap.

Well said Nathan, travelled 2 hours there and am now on the way back having watched that shambles!!!

 

Why the hell were no subs made at half time??? Things will never change!!!

 

When things are going well the players cover up the managements faults big time but when we play poorly the management may as well not be there!!!

 

What has happened to the 3-5-2 formation that was used in one of the best Slough displays I've seen in years???

 

I've tried to stay positive in recent weeks and the only positive I can take from today is we were never going to win the FA Trophy but we've lost valuable income!!!

 

I seriously believe that our current squad and management believe their own hype far too much sometimes!!!!

Ian, are our performances consistent???

 

Simple answer NO... Until we achieve a consistent level of performance week in and week out, we will struggle to gain promotion!!! Whether the performances are league or cup is irrelevant!!! Good teams grind out results when they play poorly!!!

 

If Nathan or anyone else spends their hard earned money following the team they support week in week out then they are entitled to their honest opinion!!!

 

We won't play well every game but promotion chasing good teams pick up wins when they are below par!!! We should be beating teams like Gosport!!!

and to Cookham Rebel ...Thats what's its all about being a Slough Follower / Supporter

 

we have to take the ruff with the smooth .. If you don't want to spend your hard earned money then don't bother ..

 

We can have no doubts the game was horrendous and we all should have stayed at home . no one questions your right to your

 

views ... but as a supporter thats part and parcel ! Only a very few teams around the country are winners every year ..

 

most are losers...

 

Up the Rebels... and Like England ..we hope the real Rebels turn up next Saturday !
