When you get to my age in life,there is nothing like a new adventure,a new place to visit etc.But being Croydon born and bred,I really thought that an opportunity beckoned for yours truly to support his local side in Guernsey,alas this will not happen.We Croydon Lads were not up to the task,but what really amazes me is that their are many Croydon based players,plying their trade in the c.c.l,for a few pieces of silver,that could make Croydon F.C. Great again.Grandad opens his arms to you,to return,you know it makes sense.SO WHY NOT GIVE ME A RING,an old CROYDON saying 1 in all in,well old addington saying to be exact.I DO LOVE YOU ALL!!!!!!

Croydon has a population of 330,000 - Guernsey has 65,000 give or take. By my reckoning Smudge if all the good players of Croydon got together the team would be 5 times better than Guernsey ;)

well done for defending yourself and friends, I know you a bit better than urch and you are a top bloke with a great attitude and outlook,.

 

smudge brings up a point I share in some way.

 

there are a lot of croydon guys playing at the same level at other clubs, and it seems to me at the basic coco level the majority of players should be playing for their local clubs.

 

 

 

always exceptions, im delighted for the lads who came to dorking helped us out div 1 and have moved up the pyramid.

Loving how touchy people get about certain places lol

Croydon has it's bad parts and better parts,pretty much the same as other towns inside the M25 that are now part of the London suburbs,your likes of Romford (the biggest sh1thole around),barking (just as bad),ilford,Watford etc etc.I lived in Croydon many years ago and even then it wasn't the safest place after dark but last time I was there,about 6 months ago you almost felt something was going to happen to you,bit like walking through Romford town centre late at night

Absolutely cacking myself,Croydon used to be a nice place,I grew up there,it's a fckng hovel now and I am glad I moved out

Smudge don't even respond to this d.i.c.k.h.e.a.d he clearly couldn't handle himself living in croydon so moved to sunny Essex....

 

Question if u live in Essex and support hornchurch aren't u in the wrong forum fella?!?

Nothing wrong with Croydon, my old stamping ground. I go there fairly often as my best mate still lives there.
