Billericay Town 2-0 Hastings United HT

Billericay Town 2-0 Hastings United FT

Both goals scored by the captains of both teams

Both goals scored by number fives

At least five goals missed by the blues in the second half

Personally I'm loving the new nickname of our keeper = Magnet

My man of the match has to go to their number five closely followed by our number seven Billy Radley (imo)

Another strong performance from the blues. 2-0 was very flattering to Hastings and it could easily have been six or seven. Once again it's difficult to single out anyone as all the boys played their part. I've just had a look at sky news and seen we are only a point off of top spot in 3rd place.

I'm off to work now in a very jolly mood.

Not as slick as the performance at Wingate but a deserved three points all the same. Swainy fast becoming a legend and looks likely to score in every game at the moment. Billy Radley done well but against the better sides we'll definately need Junior back. Big game on saturday against an inform side on a decent pitch, this should be our toughest test so far. C'mon you Blues.

Another very professional performance from us last night.

Hastings tried to knock us around a bit in the first half and when that didn't work they didn't seem to have another plan - apart from pointlessly play the ball around at the back and give it away shortly afterwards.

We could have won by more - Jay doesn't seem to be having much luck in front of goal at the moment, but if he keeps working as hard as he is, it won't be long before the goals come again.

MoTM for me was (as he has often been) Swainey. He looks in absolutely imperious form at the moment. The way he sprints back into position following corners is unbelievable. I also thought Sam Berry had a very good game. We all know that his delivery is good, but last night I thought he defended well too.

Hastings kept going until the end but we were too good for them. As Ryan said Saturday against Not Police will be a tough game - hopefully we can keep going.

All the best to Steve Browne, who I read has left the Club. He must have been the part of the management team in charge of substitutions :D

Come on you Blues!!

Another great performance easy in the end but should have scored another 2 or 3 ,can't remember Hastings making Morgan make a save.

Just looking at the stat's and we have only conceded 1 goal in open play(@ Wingate) in over 12 hours what a top effort that is.

If we can get through Saturday with out defeat there is then a run of 5 home games including 3 different cup competitions should be an interesting couple of weeks.

Also a mention for The Swaine the bloke is on fire at the moment looks like scoing in every game as well as running the show at the back well done fella thumbup%20(2).gif
