Well, I don't know about anyone else but only one word sums up tonight's performance, PAINFUL!!!

One of those games and performances you put behind you and move on... At least we didn't lose and we kept another clean sheet, neither side deserved to win BUT special mention for the referee tonight, I don't think there is a word in the English vocabulary that sums up his performance, disallowing a goal for THEIR goalkeeper running into their CENTRE HALF?!?!? Do me a favour!!! Watching the referee was like watching an old episode of Benny Hill!!!!

The ref also missed several bad tackles from both teams and Slough were extremely fortunate to finish the game with 11 men, as Sean Sonner deserved to have been send off for a wild reckless challenge from behind on a North Greenford player.Totally unnecessary and very cowardly.Surprised Steve Bateman never hauled him off as it was right in front of him.

As for the whole game, waste of my petrol !! lol !

It was a poor game - scappy, with some bad tackles, and not the result we wanted after the high of Saturday's excellent result. But we didn't lose - that has to be the positive coming out of the game. Poor finishing cost us and we should have won, but they also hit the post so we had a scare. Still not quite sure how Nathan headed that chance over from a yard or two out!

Thought we were the only team really looking for the win, they were prepared to be organised, work hard and hopefully hit us on the break.

Could very easily have won comfortably but didn't get the rub of the green in front of goal. Burnell had four decent chances first half but the ball never quite sat down for him and they were all either volleys or half volleys and difficult to deal with. Mpi showed a lot of willing running but has a lot to learn I think.

Personally I think we always look our most threatening with Sonner and Burnell as a partnership up front. Too often last night one or both of them were dragged out wide and we ended up lacking in the box.

Sonner is a much better target man than Mpi as well. Better reader of the game wins more in the air and Mpi is better feeding off the knock downs because of his raw pace.

Hopefully Sincs isn't out for too long as we miss his width. Ideally if Heron is fit he can come in and play on the right and we can revert to 4-4-2 which is serving us so well.

Nasty looking injury to Adam Martin as well - hopefully that is just a knock and his substitution was precautionary.

The last minute disallowed goal was shocking. Their keeper did clatter their centre half - not sure if he was nudged though. Either way very soft. The ref then told their keeper to get a jog on to take a goal kick otherwise he was booking him and literally the second he struck the ball he blew up. Imagine if he had booked him for time wasting with half a second to go!

Having sat and seen the video of the disallowed goal again, unfortunately there's a few players between camera and incident which don't make it as clear as it could be, but I struggle to see what the referee has seen and disallowed the goal for.

Highlights should be on the site in an hour or so.

after watching the film clip ... the goal should have stood ..the defender hits a hit ball into the air .. sean stands his ground ..defender and keeper get in each others way ..and ball goes in off the defender as the keeper completley misses it !

Maybe the ref would like to comment ? and he had already got the whistle in his mouth and was never going to allow it as he clearly did not want Slough to have anything ! That was loud and clear ...like his bloody whistle !

We should all know by now that playing sides like that is never pretty. Dodgy pitch, ball bouncing like a tennis ball, typical Step 4 tactics, hump it, chase the ball down in every quarter of the pitch, resolute defending, come on we've seen it all before. Actually we normally succumb to it, so it's more like a point won, not 2 lost.

Ask St. Neots what it was like playing against our other favourites AFC Hayes..........and they got no points!!

We still should have won though.................

Hoppers report http://modushopperra...-4-mankind.html

highlight "Slough's ambition for promotion is confirmed by the size and expectation of their travelling support. It will usually be a good night for your club's bar-and-burger takings when they are the visitors!"

What that quote suggests is that we're a bunch of burger eating p*ss heads. Very perceptive!!!!
