South Park 2-2 Sandhurst Town (AET) - Sandhurst win on pens.

 

This game had a bit of everything and finally finished at 10.30! Fizzers took the lead against the run of play midway through the first half and then went 2-0 up through hoggy straight after half time. Lavery got one back for Park before the Peter Crouch like sub equalised with a couple of minutes to go. Two minutes into added time, ref awarded a harsh looking pen to Fizzers which was skied to take us into extra time.

 

Not a lot happened in extra time, so pens it was. James Wastell in the Park goal and Matt Watson in the Fizzers goal both made some good saves and into sudden death, the little South Park right back hit the ball miles over giving the next Fizzer the chance to win the tie, which he did.

 

Good to have a chat to Blue&WhiteArmy who had retired early with an injured ar5e cheek

No no it's all about Molesey Reserves vs Mole Valley Reserves in the Suburban League. My stint as caretaker manager of Valley's ressies ends with 1 win and 1 defeat Back to being waterboy lol

Our home jinx goes on. We were very very average tonight and our passing got worse as the game went on. Took the lead just before half time but last 20 CB pressed and pressed and got a deserved leveller two minutes from time. Both sides had chances in extra time and we looked the fitter side but squandered several glorious ones in the final period. Visitors won the shootout. Much deserved as they wanted the game much more than we did on the night. Too many of our players bottling 50/50’s and sloppy passing Overall not good enough from us and good luck CB in the next round

Game over in 20 mins as 3 down. We Went into game quite relaxed and it showed. Egham very good side with front 3 very quick and skillful. Good luck to them in next round. We showed a bit of fight when we went down to ten with 17 year old Josh wright scoring and should of had a pen as well. Worcester park sat in the other league cup
