1st half we were superb and a neutral would have thought we were the team from the Conference... 2nd I thought it was pretty even with heat taking it's toll, we deserved the win overall... Struggle to pick an MoM, all the players ran their nuts off!!! For a Conference South team, Boreham Wood are piss poor and the lack of support for a club at their level is embarrassing, and their manager?!?!? What a foul mouthed child!!!

OUTSTANDING!!! that pretty much covers it.

 

everyone involved at the club very very well done. we more than matched them throughout making them look at best a bottom half Southern Premier side and thats probably being overly kind

 

Boreham Wood support was even worse than i feared but great to see a seemingly increased amount of home fans

 

we rode our luck at times a bit BUT we hit the woodwork twice and really could have been more comfortable

 

the ref not giving a free kick before their 2nd looked a diabolical decision from the far end of the pitch would be interesting to hear what people that end thought

 

lets hope the goals fly in now for Mpi. what a finish considering he has been short of confidence finishing wise

 

it just had to be Sonner to get what turned out to be the winning goal. sensational effort from him. Coyne exceptional once more also. Swift awesome goal and defending display. Woozley is just different class. all the guys played a huge part though

 

lets keep this run going and rake in the extra cash REBELS REBELS REBELS!!!!!!

AMAZING! quality game and good to see Slough bag £4,500 from the game and £9,000 from all FA Cup games so far. I really enjoyed today and have official made my mind up, more Slough games, less Watford games. Does anybody know if Slough do half season tickets? i would love to commit to the club much more. I was alone today but i still managed to enjoy it which is still surprising, i met a lot of people and we have great support, very funny as well. I will 100% be attending more games, Slough have showed they are more than capable to get promoted and do well in the Evo-Stik premier League.

Not great from the officials today. I was up the other end for their second goal but it looked like a foul.

 

The linesman on the dugout side spent the second half saying "good tackle" and "well done" to the opposition players which I thought a bit strange. Then there was the foul on Ben Abbey. I don't actually think he meant to elbow Ben in the face but he very delierately thrust his arm across to block him. I can't believe the Boreham Wood players carried on arguing after the yellow card - I'd have kept quiet and been thankful it wasn't red but they were constantly moaning during the second half. They are one of those teams that are thoroughly unlikeable so I'm glad we put them out.

 

Lots of good performances but I thought Swifty did a superb job filling in at left back.

Can't wait to see the photos from the game, especially the ones just at the start of the second half!

 

Just pulling together the video now, should be online in an hour or so. Nathan got all the goals, including the disallowed ones, and was great to watch them again today.

 

Well done everyone and looking forward to the draw and a Sunday game hopefully! (SYCOB drew 0-0 at Staines today, so good luck to them on Monday)

Fantastic performance all round, very hard to pick one out for MotM. First half was pure quality and we were all over them. Second half they gave it a go but we dug in and defended well to hold on. Well done to all the lads today in that heat it cannot have been easy! We made them look very average and every player put in 100% effort.

Looking forward to the draw on Monday! COYR!
