Hezza is back!

Good to see Chris Herron back - great left foot and more suited to the left wing slot than Marsala in my opinion. I wonder how fit he is - we're crying out for someone in that position, especially if Sinclair is out. We're also missing Murphy tomorrow and Herron can play in a more defensive role! I would not expect to see him feature though.

Third time's a charm for Hezza? Quality player who showed flashes of brilliance - so a good signing. Would like to see him given a regular run in the team - very really featured week in week out for us previously.

Looks like Chris Heron is back with the rebels!!!

Great to see Chris Herron back, was a bit surprised when we let him go in the first place,as I thought in pre-season he was looking sharp, seemingly forming a good understanding with Stuart Swift and Danny Murphy. Can't see that trio getting a lot of use, though, unless we go back to our 3-5-2 shape,as Steve Bateman seems to favour 4-4-2 and is highly unlikely to drop either Adam Martin or Paul Coyne unless injury or suspension befalls them,in which case I would presume Adam Logie or Shaun Byrne would more than likely get the nod as a like for like replacement.

I think Dom Marsala can count himself unlucky too,as I didn't think he got enough game time.So can see why he's opted for Aylesbury. Herron will suit Bateman's squad as he doesn't seem too bothered if he doesn't play full matches and that seems to me to be the Catch 22 with him,as he never seems fully fit. However, I think if he played often he would gain confidence and go on to prove he is one of our most skilful players in our team.

I hope Adam Martin has a very good game today [boreham Wood],as he was poor against Daventry but certainly needs game time after his long lay off, There's no doubt he is the ideal centre midfielder on his day but trying not to be too harsh !, I think he is fortunate to be favoured clearly by Steve Bateman over Adam Logie at the moment. That said Martin and Coyne seem to be currently a excellent foil for each other and Paul Coyne has been a revelation of late. This can be no coincidence given the fact that we now have plenty of options in the midfield area and competition for places has livened up some of lack lustre displays of last year by Steve's favoured players.Long may it continue.

Best of luck to all the Slough players/management for todays FA Cup match, we have a great opportunity of another upset.

Come On You,Rebels !!!
