Have heard lots of rumours about things that are going on down there,such as building a good side ,getting lights ,sorting their pitch length out etc,hope this is the case,whatever some people think sheerwater are a great little club, Woking council have given Westfield and knaphill great facilities,but seem to hold back on the sheers simply because the athletic club get the needle.for the amount of work Trevor wenden does down there he should have been awarded an mbe by now ! And as for loop I hope all his plans come together, good luck to them

Why didn't Sheerwater get the same help from WBC as Knaphill and Westfield?

Be a shame if it went the same way as Chobham. Is there light at the end of the tunnel??

There were lights put in a few years back which lit up the whole pitch,they were good enough for the club to train under and probably good enough to play under,but when the athletics club found out they put shrouds over them so that they only lit up the track,the athletic club will do everything in their power to get the football club out of the arena even though they have nothing to do with it while the football season is on.

Maybe they should consider groundsharing with Westfield or Knaphill as they all rent facilities from the same WBC. Perhaps the reserves could groundshare at Sheerwater.

 

Why would one club miss out when the facility is available down the road to share - the reserves don't need lights do they?

Both the sheers and Westfield were offered brookwood country park before knaphill,but both wanted to stay where they have always played

Good point SWT groundsharing is OK in the short term but to retain your identity clubs need a proper base
