Interesting Stats

I have the pleasure of standing next to Ryan (who will now be known as The Oracle" he told me a stat at the match which i found interesting. Just checked and here it is.

 

We complain about Margate poor home record, however there are still 7 clubs in our League who have NOT one a single game at home. But only 2 clubs have not won away..

And with Margate 1 home win there is another 3 clubs in our league who have also only one once at home.

good results can be achieved by playing badly unfortunately we are playing badly and also getting bad results.

Hey long season... Mid table isn't to be nose turned at... It's how you finish not how u start... 2 league wins and back in shout for playoffs... We just need to WIN

Five away wins last night, one home win. More away wins than home wins has happened in our league before, at least at the beginning of a season.

More away wins, away goals and away clean sheets so far so we are not alone!

Also if you look at the bottom of this page Hornchurch's away form is much better than their home.

And to build on this theme, 14 sides in our division have taken a greater % of the potential points available from their away games than at home. So the issue of away teams sitting back and playing on the break is not just an issue for us, but - at least for the moment - for most clubs in the division.

That bit of info,although true doesn't tell half the story.Our home form this season isn't good in terms of results but against Canvey we lost to two silly mistakes by our ex keeper when we should of won,against Horsham we lost the same keeper after 3 minutes and played with our centre back in goal,should of won that as well and Saturday against wealdstone,their keeper was MOTM,in fact Tuesday night was one of our poorer performances
