Wingate 1 - Billericay 4.

In my opinion, this was our best performance so far. Benson Kpaka open the scoring with a deflected shot early on. Wingate then equalised with their first real attack through a great goal by Leon Smith (his ninth of the season). Then David Knight restored our lead and from then on we controlled the game. Junior Luke added a third in the first half. In the second half we were in complete control. Junior Luke had a great team goal ruled out for off side and then Sam Berry smashed in a forth from a free kick( see video on our web site) , Everyone played well and I do mean everyone. I am sure the beautiful playing surface helped. We seem to be going from strength to strength. We are now up to third. We also had good support for a Tuesday night.

Bloody marvellous performance.

Our 'poor' midfield once again magnificent. David 'I don't know why we signed him' Knight knocks in his fifth goal of season and it's still only September. The player with the same name as the manager, outstanding. Ten games in and we are averaging 2.50 goals a game and even onthesidelines isn't a 'little subdued' Things must be good.

Hard to pick a MOM as everyone of the team played well. We looked strong in every department and outclassed Wingate.

Well done lads. Now for the FA Cup.

What a superb result and a really great way to go into the FA Cup fixture - Team gelling nicely ? Averaging 2 points per game is storming - And we are picking up points on the road !!!! When did we last do that on a regular basis, aswell as keeping goals against down to minimum .

Nice one lads ! And nice one Craig and the gang !

Gotta enjoy seeing the table - And in football you certainly gotta enjoy the good moments when they come along :D

That was without doubt one of the best performance I have ever seen from Billericay. Wingate were no mugs and looked a strong and lively outfit, even at 3-1 they kept working hard, passing the ball and moving forward which made a big difference to most teams in this league.

Agree with the above posts, extremely difficult to pick out a MOTM as across the pitch everyone put in a strong performance resulting in confident passing and moving from front to back.

Knight and Mays relationship upfront work well again last night, with some fantastic pass and move resulting in our third goal. The biggest difference this season, which was glaring for me last night was when Wingate made the mistake for our second goal, Knight finished with calm and clinical precision. How many times over the years have we not punished teams for their mistakes or missed hatfulls of chances, only to see the opposition get a late goal from their only chance? This season the confidence shown by so many players sees us taking our chances and punishing the opposition.

Hats off to the players and management team, roll on Saturday!!!

An excellent away win and I agree with the posters above that it was a very impressive performance

W&F started brightly and they passed the ball around well (obviously having total confidence in their bowling green surface). They caused us a few problems but once we swapped our wide players over we stopped their supply and with our fantastic work rate we gradually got on top. By the end, we had completely destroyed them, we looked like we could score loads and the lads really looked like they were enjoying their football.

The whole team played really well last night and if we can continue in that vein, then we will be a tough nut to crack.

Well done lads! Hopefully we can maintain that level in the coming games.

Come on you Blues!!

A fair report by them which should be taken as a pat on the back by the whole squad.

Thrilled that i was able to make it to this game which turned out to be one of the best football matches i have ever seen the Blues play.

Great also to share in the celebration on the coach on the way home. Let's hope the coach trip on Saturday will be as good.

Well done all

The impressive FACT at the moment, is that we are scoring from defence, midfield and attack. It's been a good few years since we done that. All we need is for Nicky Morgan to up his game with a couple for a full set!

I thought David Knight was superb, never stopped running and was a menace all night.

Keep it going and no St. Margaretsbury type fook up saturday please!
