Knaphill

I don't think Knaphill are that bad, think going forward there decent, if they could tighten up at the back then I'm sure there be pushing for the title again. Its hard to replace big players, I.e Baker, Milesy , Shelley. We had it at lammas. Just takes time and abit of patience.

That would be a shame but inevitable I suppose given the start to their season.....shame it's always the manager to blame!! Looks a hard task whoever takes that job on.....I've heard various rumours about the chairman, put the words kn@b and head together and you get my drift.

All you clubs are miles away from me in London, so I think your all crap, and you cost me a fortune in fuel, lol

Seriously though. in the mad schemes of things, we should all be glad that a small band of people, run football clubs so we can enjoy what we do, in a well run, (mostly) way. And gives a small band of faithful supporters somewhere to go on a weekend, to watch a load of people who nearly had trials a Chelsea kick a ball around.

Which league do clubs fall into if they finish bottom of division one?

There is no automatic demotion from Div 1. In recent years some clubs have folded or voluntarily dropped into lower league for either ground grading or financial reasons. For example I think Farnborough North End who were here last season are now in a Step 7 league.

Yes we're going through a rough time right now, every club has a 'transitional period' at some point. Take the likes of Arsenal this season, happens to everyone. We've had some bad results through VERY poor performances, like mine at Lammas in the second half and feel I cost the team that game! We've also had bad luck at times like Worcester Park away, 3-1 down and 5 minutes into the second half we hit the bar, then keeper makes a great save, another day they'd go in and 3-2 with 40 minutes to go is always going to be eventful....That's football!! The club are notorious for bad starts, just look at the run that was put together from Jan-Apr earlier this year, anything can happen.

We've lost a few players and it's always hard to replace some of the quality that you lose. A lot of new players coming in is always difficult and takes time to gel with each other, along with working on systems, set pieces etc. Dave Freeman who was one of the joint managers was asked to step down Thursday night, leaving Adie Wilson as sole manager and Neil Woodyer as first team coach. It was a shock to hear but the club have obviously given this a lot of thought and I'm sure this was no easy decision, especially as Dave has been involved with the club in many capacities for a number of years doing a great job. Now Adie has the hot seat and us as a team will work with him and Neil to fix what we need to fix and find form. Yes players will come and go, that's football, but we won't stop until we get it right!!

What ever people say, Knaphill are a good club and you only have to hear what visiting players, supporters and officials say about us when they visit our ground. Great facilities, great club officials involved and a great bunch of lads/ladies through all of our teams!! The comments about the chairman aren't needed and although I've only been at the 5-6 weeks, I think he's a decent guy!!

I hope that's answered some questions for some of you. I do laugh at others always quick to shoot us down and batter us when they should concentrate on their own clubs. If your club is happy and things are rosy, well one day they might not be and then I'll sit back at watch you getting hammered for no reason!!

Agree with Wattsy, bar my spat with B.P. 2 seasons ago, have always found Knaphill to be most welcoming, from the Chairman through to the Players. They Have lost the spine of a very decent side, always hard to replace for any Manager, but knowing how well run they are, they will sort it out for sure.

I have no idea, not my area to be involved with. I think (no sure) that Dave did a lot of the website

Terry is a good fella, he gives whoever is in charge plenty of time, easy to have a pop from the outside when you dont and i dont know whats happening at there club!
