What is happening at knaphill,they get everything in place for promotion,have a lovely set up,then suddenly players leave ! Have watched them 3 times this year,and I think they could be in the lower reaches of div 1, which is a shame after all the hard work done off the field.

Also hear (on the reliable grapevine!) that yet more players are likely to depart the club in the next week. Could be a long hard season ahead for the knappers, like you say SWT, it's a shame as the ground improvements would now allow them promotion....

 

i hope you reliable grapevine source is very reliable. Chubby where did you get this info from? and who are you?

 

It's easy for a player to walk away from a team that is in a bad place but it takes a bigger man to stay and fight it out. Yes players have left, being tapped up by other clubs for weeks on end but we still have believe that we can do well. If 5 players from your starting line up leave within in one month its always going to be tough but you just have to get on with it! It's only the end of september, there's a long way to go in the season yet!

 

no doubt there will be 7 dayers coming in for other players with things like 'leave that sinking ship' and come to us etc etc but the grass isnt always greener!!!!

 

IMO the team hasnt been playing to its potential at all, individually and collectively. Everyone needs to fight for their shirt and most of each other. A wise man said to me 'the harder i work the lucker i get'.

Because you have everything in place dosnt mean you have a divine right to be better than anyone else you have to earn the right! and knaphill are just 1 of those teams SWT, and as for diggity he loves the club so your always going to get a responce from him on it
