I haven't been to Hartsdown for quite a while up until tonights game and saturdays game against Tooting and at the moment, it's so depressing there is no optimism for anyone anymore. Seems like the supporters have given up and there is no doubt that is rubbing off on the players. We have stopped being the 12th man at home (not that we ever really were) and that probably gives the away team confidence, especially if they are hearing our "supporters" getting on our own players' backs.

 

Why has it become so depressing? We've got a better on field team then we've had for a few seasons, things are finally looking positive off field and we are still in existence, when we so easily could have been liquidated and yet no one seems happy. For god sake at least we have a team to support, It's disappointing to see a lot of familiar faces no longer come along and now there are only a few members of the choir and there efforts are now muted by people who think moaning at players is being constructive.

 

This is a crap league, no ifs or buts about it and to be honest I reckon the league is there for anyone to win, I don't think we will but we have an outside chance, especially if we can start producing our away form at home and keep our great away form going. I find it interesting that we win away from home, when all the moaners stay at home watching Gillette Soccer Saturday.

 

I'm concerned that we will lose to Thamesmead on Saturday because I know that if we haven't scored in the first 10 minutes then people will start having a go at the players.

To be honest this losing streak was always goingto happen, we are still mid table not year dragged into to relegation battle... And if we are true to ourselves mid table is a massive improvement on the last 2 x seasons... 10 games in(nearly) and my review is not bad (good away form) could do better, particularly at home. Let's get behind the team 1 or 2 wins in next few matches, can change the whole picture.... I stand by my prediction mid table this year... Play offs next
