All in all another disappointing performance. The only time we looked dangerous was the last 10 minutes of the first half where we really should have gone in at half-time 1 up. One thing I've noticed in the last 2 games is our inability to play the ball on the ground and through the middle. When ever we get the ball down we do the same thing and play it out wide and cross it in, despite the fact that we seem really poor in the air. I understand Liam Coleman is injured, so with that we are missing probably our only playmaker, so it will be great if we could bring in one more just to give us the chance to mix it up a bit because we are so predictable at home and so easy to defend against. Also where has our defence been in the last 2 games. I think our midfield as whole look alright, but going forward and defending it seems we have nothing at home, despite having decent players. I don't get it

Same old, same old.It was acceptable to watch Billy Edwards launch a high ball forward from defence as we had front players capable of and the passion to want to win the ball. After all these seasons of watching and supporting the team while we have at times played a load of dross my enthusiasm is beginning to wain. I find myself leaving before 1/2 time know as i see nothing to enthuse me out on the green oblong.

What's the answer. Maybe a £10 fine every time a high ball is won by the opposition defender. Some of the players would be in negative equity by the end of the week.

Come on guy's you are good on the ball, so let's see some Football instead of Kick and then Defend.

IMO he has to start on Saturday, or maybe put Curtis at left back where he looks far happier and switch Dean Hill to midfield where he shone last game of season against Kingstonian.

Five at the back with Stubbs and Curtis as the wing-backs.

Last night and on Saturday, the opponents kept getting in behind our defence but we never managed to do it back. Stubbs was excellent at left-wing back so if he had a crack on the right it would create more. Also Curtis is not afraid to get himself down the flanks when it that position.

WW in the middle so there is someone who can pass the ball to feet.

Most importantly, no matter how it is going, no matter what the score is KEEP IT ON THE DECK AND PASS IT AROUND!!!! When we do that we tear teams apart. When we lump it, it gets swallowed up and lumped back to greater effect!

That said, it is still early days and I am still confident of a good season. Tonbridge started badly last season (not that I am necessarily saying it is a bad start) and look where they ended up.

really don't know why WW came on so late in my mind a good 30 mins would have been far more use as he has not played for some time, but I'm not the man in charge. Also i would like CR back in his left back role, he does add some bite to the middle but looks out of sorts for long periods during games. As said WW must start Saturday (if fit)

I agree with SteveB try Stubbsy and Curtis as wing backs as I said in my earlier post in 'Double Standards' I am afraid Ball and Hill are not full backs and we are being beaten with goals comming from crosses along the byeline especially down our right one on Saturday one last night.

Match report now available.

Is there a rule which says we have to play differently at home than away.

Never mind the spectators wanting this 'passionate football' nonsense.

Play dull boring stuff and get a lucky win.

Thought you might respond to that Michael. ;)
