Slough u18's next home game will be on Thursday 6th Oct to Harefield UTD

 

and not Oxford City ....

Half hour gone in the second half its now Maidenhead 3 Slough 2

And thats the way it ended

Every good game fell asleep in the second half just like slough used to

Talk about the old saying, Its a game of two halves.

 

Good Crowd though and for once we may have been out numbered by the Maidenhead following. Although the majority of them would struggle to make the Under 12s Let alone Under 18s. But still a good turnout.

 

I was impressed with the Maidenhead Keeper, very vocal.

Yep a shame tonight ..Slough proberly play their best in the 1st half , winning 2 nil at half time .. however Maidenhead came out all guns blazing and within 10 mins of the re start it was 2 - 2, Slough seamed to get back into the game and the game ebbed and flowed ...with James the Poor Slough Keepers playing out of his skin succumbed to close quater shot that slipped between him and the post ! a real shame as he had a fine game .. Never mind James you more that saved slough from more goals against ! the Final Score Maidenhead 3 - Slough 2 attn approx 125 !

That is a decent turnout, beating many of the average gates for ES Div 1. Would be nice to see as many turn up at Holloways Park next Week.
