Thanks Steve, at least you & Wellsie are doing a decent job for the Club !!

 

Message to CK & Jake, can someone relay to the players that the one-touch and two-touch passing they do in pre-match warm-up routines CAN ALSO be deployed DURING the game. You can count on one hand the number of successful BALL to FEET passes we had during the game today, everything else was long speculative balls which the Tooting defence had no problem dealing with. Also, for goodness sake stop the hoof to the left wing at kick-off or re-start, IT DOESN'T WORK!

Gotcha ! Long speculative punts upfield (whether from Kick-off or from open play) that the opposition's defence just mop up are a deliberate and successful tactic. How could I have been so wrong? :wacko:

A terrible performance. Make no mistake, Tooting will finish in the bottom third and maybe the bottom four. Our defence is probably the best paid in the division yet we keep giving away poor goals. Predictable going forward.

 

Apparently there was over 300 hundred there today, a good performance (NOTICE I DID'NT SAY WIN) and we would have encouraged another 30, 40 or even more next game ...... on the same note we probably lost another 30 or so iffy supporters. Cmon blues make Hartsdown a fortress once again.

Tuesday night will ( I hope ) be the exception to the rule Rob. :)

 

 

 

We will see young man,I shall be giving tactical advice from these forums to our management team and I may even turn up if I can get out of work,but if I do I shall be thoroughly drunk by around 6pm

A good attendance yesterday considering.Just shows what a HOME win can attract.Sadly Tuesday night we might not be seeing a lot of those after yesterdays efforts or lack of them should I say.

Incidentally, can someone tell me what the attendance figure was for the Tooting FA cup match as no-one seems to have mentioned it.

Not that it matters , but has the game v tooting and mitcham- been mixed up with the game against ummmm -tooting and mitcham.

 

i think maybe the subs listing is a bit wrong-not too sure you can have 7 subs in a league game ?

 

Oh bugger! A case of File / Save as / Leave some information unchanged! DOH!
