ccl premier Guildford city (0) 1 Camberley town (0) 1 ,fair result based on the balance of play , camberley opened the scoring just after half time with a very good strike cutting through the city defense ,guildford replied a couple minutes later with austin gecheru on target , i should think both clubs were happy to take a point from this one ! typical top of the table clash .

Poor 1st half marked by some early over the top challenges from Guildford. The one on our CB within the first 5 minutes clearly wasnt noticed by the ref otherwise the Guildford player may have been in trouble.

 

2nd half started better. Camberley scoring 2 minutes in with a well worked goal but Guildford were level within 2 minutes thanks to a lovely finish from outside the box. Both sides then cancelled out but I would say we were happier with a draw than Guildford. Shame to see the moaning and bench baiting at it again from the home side. Best call was from the Guildford bench in the last minute when the assistant gave us a throw "Give us something today ref" which was literally seconds after their player had blazed over a free kick from 20 yards out. Quite interested to know who had given that if the ref had given them nothing all game ?

0-1 2 mins - poor decision making in the defence and Richard Smith scores with a well taken lob

1-1 12 mins - good run by Marcus Moody and then Tom Hedges (ex MV) and Jamie Houghton scores with a low shot

1-2 18 mins - more bad defending and Richard Smith loops a shot into the top left corner

Half time

2-2 77 mins - Dale Marvell scores from the spot after Luke Silavwe fouled Matt Grave in the box

3-2 90+2 mins - Aaron Smith clatters into Luke Muldowney in the box, Marvell takes the penalty, Leigh Bowden got his right hand to it but the shot was too strong.

 

We were happy that we had won. There was no doubt whatsoever about the legitimacy of either penalty award. Some may disagree - that is their option. There is no doubt at all that the lay off since our win at C&H did us no favours. We looked leaden and flat footed and MV looked as if they will soon break their losing streak.

Windsor were fairly poor today and beaten reasonably comfortably by an okay Flackwell Heath side. They are top of the Hellenic Prem, if I was to compare them to our current leaders Guildford City, I'd say Guildford are a much better team.

Cobham 0-4 wars a good performance today from wars the sort we been waiting too see all season,our first goal was a freekick 20 yards out stuck threw the wall an into the bottom corner Liam neaves third goal from a freekick in 3 games.wars were playing some lovely football an was playin with a high tempo the second came from a long ball which Spencer bought down and struck from 35 yards lobbing the cobham keeper.cobham tried to play some nice football in spells but wars pressure was breaking them down, the third was from a corner which ended up to Richard whites feet around 12 yards out which he lofted over the keeper.then cobham had a penalty which was brilliantly saved by Gavin dilly in the wars goal.they then had another chance a through ball which dilly saved the one on one.wars 4th came from dave baker who came on up top for Spencer and he struck the ball from 30 yards with his left and it went top corner a very good performance from

Wars against a tidy cobham side which included Jamie Lawrence x Bradford and Owen price x farnborough town and tottenham.that's 3 on the spin roll on next Saturday home to sheerwater
