Boreham Wood

Just been searching youtube for Boreham woods games this season.

I managed to fin their win against Welling which was not that convincing. Darren Currie scored with two pens both against the run of play. The second was not even a pen, i dont know what the ref was doing.

Welling missed a whole load of chances and then Boreham Wood played some time wasting tactics resulting in 4 bookings and won 2-1.

The other game i found was their 0-0 draw with Woking. In this game Boreham wood looked a lot better going forward and Innih Effiong will be a handful for our defence, a tall and fast Danny Burnell type player. The obvious Darren Currie will also be a threat. In midfield i was impressed with Howell and Noto also.

On the other hand in both games their defence was shocking and something I hope we would be able to manipulate. So many through balls got through in both games and their line wasnt great.

Mark44, it's a waste of time comparing a teams league form going into an FA cup game.

League form tends to fly out of the window, that's why the FA cup produces strange results and up-sets.

two quick questions, what are the admission prices for FA Cup fixtures?

is it £1 child, £4 student and £8 Adult as usual?

and do you reckon the attendance will be higher than usual?

They haven't HT, 100 - 150 regulars, any bigger crowds are made up with travelling support. We might see 20 from them, so that makes a likely attendance of 300 - 325. Mind you even 20 is more than the likes of Daventry etc. from our league!

Don't forget Burnham are at home in the FA Cup too!!!
