I'm really looking forward to this game. After 3 games in a row away it's good to be back at Footes Lane again

 

Our stand is sold out so if the weather is good as predicted we could have a record crowd.

 

 

What ! ..against Sheerwater ? Yeah you could be right as there could be some goals on show tomorrow ....LOL !

Why not against Sheerwater NG? Nice friendly club that is on the rise, trust me. Rome however was not built in a day. Some people know what is happening at our club, unfortunately you will not. Posts like these let you down as you indirectly put us down, you are sure to claim your innocence again however.

 

One thing is for sure, we will enjoy the trip and do our best. I am looking forward to meeting the Guernsey posters.

Posts like this let me down ha ha what for being honest, yes it can be cruel sometimes ! I'm not putting Sheerwater down at all. Okay YV heres something to consider dear chap, may I suggest you have a look at the predictions all the other posters on here have made, are they putting Sheerwater down as well !!! Get real YV, what I have said could be true, after all Guernseys home record is not that bad eh.... played 3, won 3, 13 scored and none conceded............ I'm so sorry for being honest and having my opinion !

When are you facing GFC, ohh, your not, is that because you are a fantasist who sits at home and claims to be some non league hero, indirectly puts clubs down and never backs up his claims. You have proved your worth to me NG over the last few days. Prove who you are and what you have achieved and respect will be restored. Until then, you are a no one, who has done nothing and will do nothing. Easy to criticise, well done. X

WHAT ! When I'm facing GFC and non-league hero and I need your respect ha ha ..... very strange!. Sitting at home, sitting on the bench wherever it is our backsides get a rest, you mind the splinters tho' !!!

 

 

Oops CHOMP ! Whos criticising YV ? Anyway, I do not have to prove myself to anyone. I never put any club down maybe in your square eyes you think I do. I honestly don't care what you think about me YV infact indirectly, I offer my knowledge to certain clubs should they wish to take it on board thats upto them.

 

My advice for Sheerwater is tighten up your defence and get some deep heat for your keepers back..........lol !!!.

 

ps: I did say YV it wouldn't be a record crowd, but must be a good expereince for the players !

lol ! I wouldn't say I was trying to wind people up. I'm just very confident in my teams ability. I think our recent heavy wins has backed up my confidence. I am very passionate and now maisiecat knows I sit right behind her she will know it's me shouting and screaming ! Lol

DONKEY i know its not Guernseys fault that they are in Div 1 but you do need to be realistic man,anyone should be confident of his team if the team are playing probably 3 standards below what their players are capable of.Will you still be chirping like a canary when you arrive at your correct standard and find yourselves on the wrong end of a good hiding? Im sure Smudge will be on your case when that time comes .In the meantime show some respect to the little teams.

I assume the slight drop in support numbers was because of the two Jeremie Cup games at St Martin's and Sylvans against opposition from Jersey.

As a long time Weymouth fan, I know the bitter taste of defeat and the pain of sliding down from league topping position in the Conference to the "whatever the current sponsor is" premier somewhere below blue square south.....

 

I don't think young donkey does mean any offence, he is certainly enthusiastic but he is new to the pain of non league.

 

I say smile now because it WILL get tougher if/when we progress. Right now, being able to share our season with "big game" experience to all our opposition as thanks for having us in the league, and having so many games to look forward to will do me fine. I'm also making plenty of new friends.

Im sure your club will go far and deservedly so as i have spoken to some of your directors and they are doing a cracking job in promoting your club in the correct way without arrogance but i suppose we have to assume the DONKEY doesnt understand the teams he is playing against are local club sides not league representative teams.

YV just looked at the face book pictures and it looks like it was a great experience for the boys. Spoke to someone today about it and they were full of praise for the players and staff of Guernsey. It's a long way from the dark days of the Surrey Premier and the hospitality shown in those days by the likes of the Frinton Rovers and a few others for those old enough to remember.
