YV i'll meet you half time in the top of the stand half way along I'll have a green t shirt on,a green and white scarf and I'll put my green guernsey hat on whatever the weather ! Lol

 

I will wave at you as I go into the dressing room at half time. :)

oh you are playing.what position ? Ok I will leave my seat and wave my scarf in one hand and hold my hat in the other ! I'll be above the tunnel at the top

 

I am Assistant Manager GD, stick around after the game, the more posters I meet the better.

I have to leave straighafter unfortunatly I could have a quick chat before,?

it's a very sad situation when someone wishes another team to lose so badly

 

You should take it as a compliment. Everyone wants Man Utd to lose and I don't think Fergie is bothered by it.

I'm really looking forward to this game. After 3 games in a row away it's good to be back at Footes Lane again :)

 

Our stand is sold out so if the weather is good as predicted we could have a record crowd.

 

 

What ! ..against Sheerwater ? Yeah you could be right as there could be some goals on show tomorrow ....LOL !

Why not against Sheerwater NG? Nice friendly club that is on the rise, trust me. Rome however was not built in a day. Some people know what is happening at our club, unfortunately you will not. Posts like these let you down as you indirectly put us down, you are sure to claim your innocence again however.

 

One thing is for sure, we will enjoy the trip and do our best. I am looking forward to meeting the Guernsey posters.

Posts like this let me down ha ha what for being honest, yes it can be cruel sometimes ! I'm not putting Sheerwater down at all. Okay YV heres something to consider dear chap, may I suggest you have a look at the predictions all the other posters on here have made, are they putting Sheerwater down as well !!! Get real YV, what I have said could be true, after all Guernseys home record is not that bad eh.... played 3, won 3, 13 scored and none conceded............ I'm so sorry for being honest and having my opinion !

I was very proud of the Guernsey Lions today but I thought the 9-0 scoreline flattered us. The tactics Sheerwater employed in the first half an hour (pressure us on the ball and make it scrappy and open) worked a treat but we all knew that they couldn't keep up that kind of tempo. They didn't create too many opportunities and when they tired Guernsey took control. I thought the Sheerwater centre backs had a cracking game though, especially their big number 4. He was magnificent throughout and the score would have been much more if it wasn't for him. He can feel very proud of himself tonight and he would be a major asset to us in our squad. Fancy moving to Guernsey mate? :)

 

The attacking play from Guernsey was quite astounding though at times though and there were a few cracking memorable goals and another hat-trick from Ross Allen. The man is a goal machine. The pace and fitness levels that we display are truly awesome and the poor Sheerwater team were shattered at the end.

 

A cracking game and another 1400 plus crowd. Come on you Lions!!!!!

errr..it was 9-0 final score.....the disallowed goal and several near misses don't count..

 

Great afternoon in the sun though, and the lad from Sheerwater that replaced a kicked out divot got applause from the crowd and grinned and waved back...

Was nice to see their player that subbed off just after Rosso also had, go across and shake hands with him in the dugout. Good sprtsmanship is noticed and appreciated by our crowd.

I was lucky enough to come over to Guernsey today to watch Guernsey v Sheerwater and to be fair to Sheerwater they held thier own for the first 30 mins or so before Guernsey could break through and only went into half time 2-0 down.

 

After the break Guernsey just seemed to click and the flood gates opened, Sheerwater could not live with Guernseys movement, skill, stamina and vision. Im sure Sheerwater will admit Guernsey were awesome second half and on this showing can they be stopped......i would say at home on thier patch a big NO. It was fantastic to watch them and bare in mind were missing 3 of thier main players in Rihoy,Dyer,Warren.

 

You can't but not be impressed with the whole entire set up over there, Guernsey were good value and deserved all 3 pts.
