Back to bread and butter stuff tomorrow..........the jam can come next weekend and hopefully the cream not too much later.

 

Need three points against a Daventry not at their best recently and the sort of performance we gave last week should ensure those points.

absolutely no doubt that we have to be fully focussed on Daventry and totally ignore for now the FA cup game

 

its definitely not going to be an easy game so we need the commitment and effort that we had last week in the FA cup

Poor first half from Slough. Daventry must be gutted that they didn't go in at half time a couple of goals up.

 

Better from us in the second half but still well below par.

 

Still, play poorly and get all 3 points, can't be bad. It will happen again this season and if we can pinch the 3 points again, I'll take it now thank-you.

Charlie Mpi comes on about 4 minutes from the end and has an impact straight away.

 

Is there any point? and is it fair on him to keep giving him such little time on the pitch to make an impact?

Put it this way RR, if we had drew 1-1 and Mpi had come on with 4 minutes left we would all be moaning... Luckily though, we went 2-1 up and then brought him on to get amongst there back 4 with his pace... On this occasion I think Bateman got it right as we won but it was by the skin of our teeth!!!

Some people on here make me laugh, A couple of weeks ago people were on here why is MPI not coming on earlier. So Steve brings him on earlier ( nothing said ) wots the reaction WHY is Abbey coming on to late. And now its back to WHY IS MPI COMING ON TO LATE.

Why not bring them both on with 10/15 minutes remaining and everyone will be happy.
