Any club needing a very good manager?

Spoke to a few fans of other clubs who all say leatherhead are by far the poorest side in the league this year but 6 games is taking the p1ss to be honest,as others have said it could be there is something else to come out regarding the "sacking" but it wouldn't surprise me if the owners have panicked but it could also be they feel the ryman prem is a step too far in management terms,it is certainly a big jump from ryman one north but I always felt that ryman one south was a bit nearer to the prem in playing standards

Owners haven't panicked........... it maybe more sinister than that !

Eastside don't say ''there is something else to come out regarding the ''sacking'' otherwise Bommie will call you Svengali II and will want to hear your words of wisdom also bless him....................LOL !!!

Mick is a top bloke and a good manager ! At the end of the day his record as a manager is second to none ...any club who takes him on will start winning things !

I bet Micks phone will be non-stop but meanwhile, Mick will be at your ground I'm sure, he can't keep away from that round thing and the odd beer in the bar !

The loss of striker Tom Hutchings hasn't help after breaking his leg and Andrews hasn't been scoring maybe missing his striking partner !

Last season Mick leaves Leatherhead on principal, they reinstate him, he gets them promotion, finalists in the Surrey Senior Cup but as we all know that the league above Ryman Premier is a new test for Mick yet has he been given enough time ? Surely Leatherhead Chairman/Committee were not thinking that they would get promotion in their first season ? Give the man a chance ! 6 games isn't enough but as Fan says is a results game but please let Mick have 10-12 games ! It's typical of the knee jerk reaction of clubs ....... It wouldn't surprise me if there was something untoward about Mick being asked to leave !

So mark my words...................watch this space, you heard it here first when all the facts are revealed !

Micks 2010-2011 achievements:

Ryman Isthmian League Cup Winners

Reaching Ryman Div 1 South play-offs

Ryman Charity Shield Winners

Gained promotion to the Ryman Premier

Surrey Senior Cup Finalists

........mmmmnnn not bad for 1 season eh !

Some very true thoughts, NG.

I know one shouldn't criticise Committee methods of other clubs, especially when they are fairly local................

HOWEVER.. I think Leatherheads actions will re-bound on them, big time.

Mick's a great guy. ALWAYS welcome at Meadowbank....

Speaks it like it is, and has time for everyone. I'm sure he won't have any trouble finding another club.

Will PM you Bommie........then you will hear my words of wisdom

Well I've had no PM. What a surprise.

Back on topic, I reckon Mick will bide his time and try and get a job back in the Ryman South.

Ha ha Bommie, the trouble I have with my PM is that I cannot trust your confidentuality............. !!!

Give it another month or so, clubs struggling at the wrong end of the league will start thinking about the normal sackings, so have a month off Mick, relax, go round the grounds having a look at players then wait the for the calls to come a-begging !

Well after 50 calls in the first day, it might not take a month! :)

Not in the least N.G.do not like Leatherhead a lot.Have had a lean time over the past 20 years, with various Managers, who could not hold a candle to Mick's C.V.Ironically they have given Mark Simmons, the Temporary Managers job,no suprise there as he applied for the Merstham job, after Mick left for Leatherhead.

Ha! Spoke to someone today very close to the situation and it is indeed as sordid and nasty as I'd heard and feared. This story could run.

Leatherhead by the way lost again today.

John, why post just to say no comment?

Because what DFC officials discuss about what we know is going on, is not for disclosure on this forum.

I expect then you might know what I know. I'm happy to say how I feel about it all. You can surely express your opinion without saying what you know.

'Fraid not. There is a lot going on at Leatherhead FC at the moment, and it is certainly not my place to discuss at this time,

Leatherhead FC have to sort themselves out.
