Venturing east on Saturday.

 

We lost at home in the fa cup to Beaconsfield SYCOB so would normally say that we would bounce back against you lot, but saw you also lost to Concord.

 

Mind you did laugh at the match report - I think the second half amounted to 2 lines.

 

Someone here was saying you now charge for parking - is that true?

 

Any suggestions on local boozers for pre-match?

We don't charge for parking mate but you need to get there quite early to park in the car park,there is parking in the roads around the ground and its all free so you shouldn't have a problem parking.

As for pubs,our bar shows live premiership football and is open from 12,we do draught lager,draught cider and draught guiness and bitter as well as having bottled beers.

Nearest pub is the windmill at the end of the road by upminster bridge station,this used to stop fans wearing colours but this has now changed so is ok but its a bit of a pub/restaurant so not the best footy pub.

The Essex Yeoman by upminster station is ok and has live footy and decent beer but to be honest i would drink in the clubhouse as its better than it used to be.
