I wondered who would be the first to post the draw and my money was on Keeps, Oxhey Jets and Dunstable Town must be rubbing their hands with the prospect of a 250-300 gate

You'd think getting nothing right was unlucky but with Rhodesy it's natural talent.

Thought Rhodes was a born scrounger too, wonder whose money he had on it?

Probably Winslow Boys £20 no doubt

Bit more than his usual planned spend on a bag of pick 'n mix.

Yes that's right, like when I lent a player over £600 when I was at Haringey Borough and didn't get it back

Ref Off Ref - It's a true story, I'll tell you about it sometime over a pint and how Haringey Borough buried their head in the sand Orville style

Why the hell would you lend a player £600 when you were struggling to provide for your own family?

I'll pass on the bulls**t, sorry story and pint, but if you are prepared to bury YOUR head in the sand, Orville style, front row ticket please.

Can't pay the rent, happy to see your kids thrown out into the street and still has money to give young lads?

No smoke without fire is there?

happy to see your kids thrown out into the street

Loosely - What on earth are you talking about, sometimes I wonder if you are the full shilling

Set us all straight Rhodes but the way even I have heard it from one of the horses mouths was that your partner and your kids were evicted by bailiffs and left with no roof over their heads and no idea where they were sleeping that night. By anyone else's book but yours that is "out on the street".

But you'd rather spend the money on young lads (which you've posted yourself in this thread). Says it all and we all know who is sixpence short of a shilling.

Now what has this got to do with a football thread people might ask. Well Rhodesy has yet again welched on a football bet and has himself brought up his habit of handing money over to young "men".
