We had an incident like that at Farnborough a few weeks ago, the lottery machine on the wall in the clubhouse had some tickets stolen out of it, 2 weeks ago on a Saturday afternoon, two teenages came into the clubhouse with some lottery tickets adding up to £150 winnings, staff at the club realised the serial numbers on the tickets were the stolen one, the two were asked to come back with id to prove they were 18........Staff called the police who arrived at the club and waited for the two to come back......And guess what.....they did and were arrested on the spot

The lesson of this sad tale is that we all need to ensure that our club premises are as secure as can be reasonably expected and that nothing of value is easily available.

The low life scumbags even took the bottle on the bar which clearly stated it was in aid of the Phyllis Tuckwell hospice, luckily it is emptied regularly so not much in it.

UK "cut their balls off" Sub, a fellow Sarnie, knows as well as I do that this sort of thing happens, albeit on a generally less destructive scale at our ground on a regular basis. The police have had their resources stretched all over the country. Farnborough got lucky because the felons were clearly clueless morons. Alas the clueless morons who do things like spray graffiti on our walls, push the wall round the pitch over, set fire to the trees between the pitch and the public play area, steal footballs etc etc etc are not likely to get caught, any more than the gits who turned CTFC over - and they know it. I will let others do the pontificating over the whys, wherefores and punishments...
