Windsor 3 Chessington & Hook 0

A decent performance yesterday against a Chessington side who with no disrespect were probably the weakest side we've played this season. Never really looked troubled but my only concern was the amount of chances we wasted!! Lost count of the times we broke through and didnt even get a shot in! Surprisingly the main culprit was Ryan O'Toole who missed at least a couple of sitters!! Was he match fit? He looked a bit slower yesterday! Still no damage done yesterday but we'll need to put those chances away against other clubs! On the plus side i thought we looked a lot better at the back yesterday and Chris Ellis could turn out to be a good signing! One other thing, i heard a rumour that Matt Seedal has left the club after just a couple of games anyone know if this is true? And what happened to Ryan Wharton who played in the abandoned game against Camberley but havn't seen him since?

forgive me if i can't get too excited about beating one of the worst sides in the league! theres a reason camberly and egham put 8 past them and we need to be clinical, goal difference could easily be the difference in staying or getting out of this league! ryan definitely didnt look fit but i was perhaps more disappointed that yash featured on the wing again, despite looking so much of a threat last week when up front. personally i thought the second half was dire, a case of running through the motions, and not doing much else when the opportunity was there to kick on and score atleast 2 or 3 more.

ellis looks solid which is a massive positive but the team structure still doesnt seem to be right, the ball seems to miss the midfield an awful lot of the time

I agree with Matt on the fact we could and should be a lot more clinical and Ryan O'Toole, apart from a good finish for his goal, had two easier chances which he missed. He doesnt look as sharp so maybe he is still not 100% fit.The fact is we are at least creating a lot of chances, yet have to put these away.Teams like Guildford City and Camberley take these chances and I dont think we are far off thier abilities in any other areas .Players like Chris Ellis and Joe Hatcher have certainly strengthened us.

Wasteful in front of goal, perhaps, but overall we looked much better to me. Much more coherent, working better as a team, more anticipation of what other players could do and generally we looked far better to watch.

Perhaps this was partly due to the quality of the opposition compared to the previous week, but maybe the team are gelling together better. Which is a very good sign.

Only minus for me was that Bully had to do a lot of chasing wide: were the defence a bit slow, or off-side trap not working well?

At the end of the day you can only beat what is put in front of you. Chessington are obviously struggling at the moment and it was not hard to see how they conceded 8 last week.

To be fair to them I suspect they are one of the sides in our league who don't pay wages. In a way its a credit to them that they kept going til the end despite being outplayed..

Similar to last week we did create lots of chances and looked pretty solid at the back.

Does anybody know if Yash was injured?? It seemed a bit harsh that he was on the bench, most people seemed quite surprised he didn't start up front given his performance the week before.

Yash/Ben/oToole are carrying knocks apparently and should really not have been involved. Alex Jeffers is still out also

If this is the case why did ben and yash come on when we were coasting at 2-0 and why did Ryan play the whole match?

Again Yash was 'banished' to the wing which is bemusing to a lot of the supporters.

Accepting that Wikipedia is not 100% accurate, why would C&HUFC leave this statement if it were not the case?

"The Club prides itself on the fact that it is maintained on a purely voluntary basis. All the Committee members, trainers, managers, ground staff and adult helpers give of their own time. Likewise the players receive no payment whatsoever from the Club. All players, from Youth to Seniors are required to pay a membership fee."
