Haven't had the chance to see them yet this season, but was expecting better things from the Knappers I must admit. they've now lost 5 already so even at this early stage seem out of contention for promotion. I know they usually tend to go on a good run in the second half of the season but surely if they don't get their act together soon we could be seeing some managerial changes perhaps??

 

Had a heavy defeat today against (from what I gave seen) a weaker WP team, did all 4 new signings play today?

 

Westfield and Feltham are both the surprise packages for me so far. And what's happened to Eversley? They looked really good when I saw them in pre-season against Ash when they tore them apart for 90 minutes.....was expecting to see them up their challenging this season but results indicate too much inconsistency - have players left??

Still very early but I agree they will need to put a good run together and soon. Strange how they struggle early on in the season then finish really well. Would be silly to change management when clearly they know what they are doing as last seasons second half of the season performances shows.

Eversley are in sixth place, just four points off a promotion place and have lost less games than Feltham who are fifth. Don't see much difference in their starts really.

Feltham are a new team put together this season and are completely different to last year at Feltahm. Their team now consists many of the players who played for Ellers last year at sports and they was sitting top of the league. Come Christmas we ill see how things look and it isnt about the first month of a season that decides the league positions come May. Consistant form is the Key everyone in this league will lose games. Look at Blackpools start last season, didnt mean for much once season had finished!

We're on one of these terrible runs where we're shooting ourselves in the foot. Our main difficulties is switching off at half time. Since I've been there, with the exception to WP Saturday, we've had solid first half's. Our downfall is either conceding just before the break or a couple within the first ten minutes of the second half. At 3-1 down Saturday we hit the bar, grazed the post, forced the keeper into saves and wasted some decent chances. However as the saying goes 'if you don't take your chances you won't win football matches' proved right. We could've clawed the games back against WP even though we weren't in top gear but failed and then they scored in the dying minutes.

 

Three of the four new signings were there, one came off the bench, but things are and will improve and we know what we need to work on. Anything can happen, as we know, football is a funny old game...

Yes will defo say hello, haven't played there for 2 weeks but it was in great condition then.
