Congratulations to Byron Walton and his Beaconsfield team who had an excellent 2-0 win away at Ryman Premier Division Wealdstone today in the FA Cup. Ex-Royalists Adam Bernard and Victor Osubo the goalscorers. A lot of ex-Windsor & Eton players would of been on show in that game as Jake Parsons now plys his trade at Wealdstone. Looking at the southern league central division, it's been an outstanding start to the season for Byron with his side lying joint top after 8 games. In my opinion there Isn't a nicer more genuine guy in non league football than Byron, and fully deserves the success he's enjoying. Of the other local sides, Slough and Burnham also both got through.

Totally agree Geggy!! Byron is doing a fantastic job at Beaconsfield and its good to see Victor Osubu playing locally again who when he played at Windsor looked pretty decent!! Who can forget that goal against AFC Totton!!!

totally agree geggy, byron looks to have done a fantastic job to turn things around at beaconsfield considering they struggled somewhat last season. great to see so many ex-windsor players being successful as well! good luck to them and may they continue to press for the title/ promotion spots!
