Yet another disappointing result.

Probably played the better football, but failed to seriously trouble Dorking's keeper.

Guildford City 4-1 South Park

End to end first half without either team creating any clear cut chances, Park took the lead on 35min from a Ward header from a corner and looked to be going in 1 nil up. But then the turning point in the game our CB off the pitch after having treatment (hate that rule/law) and a Guildford corner was headed in by Gacheru (i think) after a clear and blatant push.

Second half we got a lesson, Guildford flew at us and showed why there champions and will be pushing for the title again. Scored straight from the restart with a swift move finished off by Rayner, Moody added a third and Cammara rounded things off with a Pen with 65min on the clock. (think im right with the scorers). Could of been double figures if not for the excellent Wastell in the Park goal, after containing Guildford so well in the first half it was a poor a disappointing second half display although Guildford were a different class after half time.

Agree Molls, on the viewing I saw Guildford against Molesey, where I thought they were very good. Guildford are certainly title contenders even now would be champions..........altho' Camberley will run 'em close I would presume however, I have yet to see Camberley and Windsor will be there or thereabouts in my opinion.

Very big game next Saturday - Guildford City v Camberley Town. Six pointer already?

Spelthorne and Guernsey was close. Neither keeper had much to do but Spelthorne could have equalised, wasn't a classic but certainly intriguing game.

Spelthorne's no.11 (jake Flatman I think?) certainly seems a handy player

Decent summary of the game that - was a very even first half but much better second half from our point of view. Wastell had a good game and kept the score down, although South Park did look dangerous from corners. Not sure I agree that there was a 'clear and blatant' push for City's first goal, but people can make their own mind up... http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=aU6FCyPW33w

From where i was standing (on the other side) it looked like a clear push, viewing that maybe i was wrong :( and our lanky CB swore blind he was pushed but maybe he was just annoyed he got beaten in the air. I'll ask him again!

i watched spelthorne guernsey match. thought it was a really enjoyable game, both teams trying to play the game the right way,in the end spelthorne will rue a couple of missed chances 1 which was easier to score than miss and a debatable goal chalked off for a challenge on keeper. guernseys ross allen was kept quite but only needed one opportunity and he took it

Think Dorking were bending the rules playing Leroy Hyett at number 8 and 11 lol

Yes, BJR just how many pints did you have before the game??

Actually, none, Trevor. Quite a few after kick-off, though !

The problem is caused when you are responsible for making sure both team-sheets are ready, WHEN the referee wants them.

Then you have to transfer the information to the board from the two sheets.

THEN the opposition AND home manager decide on a sudden change, with the referee's permission.

THEN, as you are adjusting the board, every man and his dog starts asking you silly questions, like...

"Why is 'so-and-so' not playing ?"

Because of the fickleness of certain players, we have started printing our full squad in the programe, so maybe I should just put a one liner.......

"Perm any 11 + 4 from the Programme !!"

Summed up extremely well Tigger. Guernsey keeper de Garis said he was definitely fouled and it didn't even come into question in his mind that the goal might be given. I can't judge as I was at the side of the pitch about halfway down.

Spelthorne should certainly have equalised at the end of the first half

Dorking 2 mvscr 1

Mvscr put in a good shift closed down quickly and hard , passed the ball better than Dorking for large periods. Never looked like winning. Could have snitched a point.

Probably wOnt finish bottom on zero points

But you have been promoted beyond your ability and groundsharing and wearing jeans and being a pottymouth bench criticising your own side so I can hear it 75 yards away won't win you friends

Get a ground. Have fun. Good luck

I have to say i do get fed up reading your posts being negative about our club, your getting really boring now.

Yes we havent got our own ground which I have addressed many times before even to yourself after another one of your shitty comments.

Yes at the moment we are struggling after losing all of our back four in the close season.

We was hardly promoted beyond our ability when we finished in a good possition last year and would have been at the bottom then and went down last season.

But dont get cocky as you have a very short memory as I recall it wasnt too long ago the only reason you stayed up in the prem was because there wasnt 3 teams who come come up from div one, so it hasnt been down to your teams ability that you have stayed up.

Also last season you stayed up by the skin of your teeth so you of all people should know what its like down at the bottom.

Your really are not giving Dorking FC a good name with your comments and im sure the real important people to Dorking FC would like you to keep these kind of comments to yourself and not want any ties with you at all.

I will just make it clear that i only have bad feeling towards this idiot because of his continued posts saying the same thing over and over but to the rest of the Dorking fans on here good luck for the rest of the season.
