Chesham 3-2 Lammas

 

What a game the lammas played, we should of got something out game, even there manager said we deserved something. We ran them to the end and made the Combined counties league proud. 200+ fans clapped us off. I'm so proud but gutted. We went 2-0 down then pulled 1 back threw gary james. Chesham went 3-1 up threw an own goal. Second half we pushed on and matty baxter pulled 1 back after a great move. We kept pushing and pushing but didn't have enough at the end. Can't express how proud we are, never thought in a million years wed take a side like chesham so close to a replay at least!! Up the lammas!!

As we were without a game today I went to see Spelthorne Sports v Guernsey. Guernsey won 1-0 with a goal in the first half by their 10. It would have been interesting to see how the game would have developed if the home 9 had not missed a sitter in the first half. The second half was a better spectacle than the first, despite the weather.

Frimley Green 1-5 Westfield

 

We struggled first half in the monsoon and Frimley deservedly went into the break 1 up.

After a rollocking at half time the lads responed within 30 seconds of the restart and we didnt look back as we hit two quick goals to make it 3-1 within 6 minutes of the 2nd half.

Added a further 2 and missed some others.

Frimley stikers were a handfull throughout and after all the fuss on here lately i barely heard a swear word from the dug out and they were respectfull throughout. I could name 10 worse teams when it comes to language
