Chesham United v Staines Lammas

Would like to wish all the Lammas players good luck for tomorrow's game against Chesham, in tbe FA Cup, it's going to be a really hard match against top opposition.

 

And good luck to all the other teams from the CCL in the FA CUP tomorrow.

With the 'Best ever squad at Lammas' you should do well, but big ask.......enjoy the pitch, last time I was at Chesham it was excellent !

We done more than well, we done superb. Never been so proud to be a lammas player. We gave them an absolute game and we deserved something, there manager even said that. Clapped of by the fans. There finishing was the difference between us and them.

I'm still buzzing about the performance of our boys today and I must say Redders your performance was the best I've ever seen you play, well done.

Got to say, I love how positive you Lammas guys are even when you get beat. Very nice to see.

Bommie, I know people come on here and say we should of won blah blah blah but I promise we deserved something today and like hartley we proved combined counties league aint no mugs! Great day and a great experience! Chesham got shooked!! Cheers ellers, come in after my 2 game ban and just loved the whole occassion. Having you on the bench made a big difference!

Bomaya, were very honest too, when were poor we say we were poor, but today we outplayed a team who is eighth in a league 3 steps higher than ours, we were 1-0 down inside the first 10 mins, as our defender sliced the ball in the top corner for a own goal, we were then 3-1 down at half time, we created 9 good chances in the first half and four in the second half. I must say the other two finishes by Chesham were excellent, We had Matt Baxter and Gary James up top who both scored and both played extremely well.

 

I Really enjoyed today and although I'm sad we are out I'm also happy that we can now concentrate on the league as promotion is our aim.
