Was just wondering what your favourite Away game has been following The Mighty Hornchurch. There are so many to choose from but here are my top 5

1-Newport county away,Connie south

2-Lowestoft Away ryman perm 2011

3-cogenhoe Fa vase 2005

4-Weymouth Fa cup 2008/9?

5-tring away Fa cup (around 1988,I was about 14 and it was my first hx away game on my own)

There are loads of other games as well

Arlesey for footballing terms and what it meant to the fans,Grays away for the numbers & laugh

Boston utd away, also Hednesford away in the quarter final of the trophy on the Saturday had it not been called off, that would of been some trip.Wonder what the next one will be???

2- Southen Manor away ESL - The first time i saw Hornchurch win a trophy (ESL League)

3- Great Wakering at Roots Hall - ESC final - does neutral ground count ?

4- Weymouth Away - FA Cup - Jesus in the last minute

5- Grays away - doing the conger round the ground after their 5th went in

We did seem to play at Tilbury quite a lot for a while.

Weymouth for me - heard that Newport was good but unfortunately wasn't there.

Bideford, Romford away with the stunning OG, Southend manor in the snow with no roof on the stand.

ESC final at Roots Hall

Edited by cup of tea
