Well played lads - apart from that sloppy 10 min spell we deserved the win...in fact could have been 5 or 6.

Deffiantly the support today was immense and it shows on the pitch...

entertaing second half could have gone either way at one stage, then relentless urchin pressure paid off, millers played their part think they will improve as the season wears on,word must of got around the cowleys were on a spying mission the only reason for that first half blip as we did'nt want to give to much away,local derbies are never easy regardless of where teams are in the league but a well earned 3 points all the same keep playing like that and the crowds will improve ,a tenner to get in, any comments anyone ?

Hornchurch definitely the better team but you can't knock the spirit shown by Aveley (and their first goal was good).

I think if we got the second goal ,it would have been an easier night.

As for £10 to get in, money is tight everywhere at the moment but thought it was a little bit cheeky seeing as we charge £9.

A well deserved 3 points after a well fought game espcially the last 10 mins or so, where i couldnt hardly breath!

 

£10 a bit steep to pay to get into Aveley, but then they dont normally get many so every penny counts i surpose.

 

Pleased to see that we are slowly but surely moving up the table, which im sure the top 5 at least will change once the FA Cup & Trophy start. Four points off the top now and its very much open and for anyones taking!

There was a good 150 hornchurch fans there to be honest.

 

As for the game,we were clearly the better side but Aveley made us work for the win.We should of been 2/3 up before their comeback but I thought we sat back a bit after 25 mins where we should just attack as we are at the moment the best attacking side in the league but more than happy with the overall performance

Still annoyed with the Horsham game. I would say Aveley are better then them as well (unless they get the same ref as us - but I'm not bitter about that!)

great win tonight and a well deserved three points. Three good goals too with Smith's strike the pick of the bunch for me. We are looking really strong at the moment particulaly going forward so lets hope we can keep the run going into the cup. Nice work by teh management team changing things around for the second half. Certainly did the trick.
