If Pagey got the winner tomorrow, I think we would all do the biggest celebration going and party long into the night. We are all certain that when he does get his first, the heavens will open and he will score for fun. For now, he is getting plenty of assists so we dont care!

Sorry smudge,i forgot you know Non League better than anyone else,must be all those games you go to outside the CCL

 

As for Romford,they have been up and down all season,even the games they have won they have been leaking goals.

 

I have watched many Essex Senior Games over the past 5 years and the standard is poor to be honest.The Essex Olympian league (the next step down) has teams who play better football and a league like the Ridgeons where some of the northern essex teams play is often hailed as much better.

I think the problem with Essex is the number of top clubs.Southend Manor has to deal with Southend United,Colchester United,Chelmsford City,Dagenham,Grays,Billericay,Hornchurch,Maldon can't be arsed to type the other 15/20 clubs that are all within about 30 miles but you get my drift.

Chertsey won again 2-1 home to Northwood. A certain Pagey of this parish scored one of them.

 

In the same league North Greenford lost 1-0 away to Fleet and Bedfont Town drew 1-1 to Woodford.

 

Meanwhile Merstham got a decent 2-2 draw away to Croydon Athletic after being 2-0 down.
