I said they should have stuck with Scott. I never said they gave him the boot but his position was made untenable and left him no choice. Nobody would work under those conditions.

 

I've heard every man and his dog have applied for the Hertford job, including KC, Geoff OVell, Bobby Davro, Kevin Gallen and Uncle Urchin.....

 

Might throw my hat in the ring too.

I have tried not to be rude and respect everyones opinion and simply keep my comments to areas where I can comment with what I believe is certainty.

It deffo is a good opportunity for the club to find the right man, its something they have failed to do in recent years.

 

They most deffo need someone who can freshen the place up and bring some players in....and more importantly get a bit of support from the boardroom and the fans.

if the club decided not to go back for scott or give the caretakers a go then former manager Dave Pentecost would be a great option...if he could be persuaded.

Its been their problem going back to old managers and players, lets be honest none of them have really done anygood, scott was a nice commited fella but look at his record!....and you end up with the same players coming backwards and forwards.

 

A fresh positive appointment is needed, if the club wants to turn things around on the field they need to look further afield than a 5 mile radius of the ground!

as for winning st mags some silverware does filling the water bottles up and holding the numbers up for subs really mean you are the special one ? the messiah ? ......nope definatly crusty !!!

 

fancy saying scott should have the job when you have applied yourself......if your going to play poker you might want to put some glasses on with that wig and big red nose

As for the Sliver ware think you will find that it was many years the club went without any till my side won that cup, sure NF will confirm that for you but i think you already know that and also many years since the club had been to two cup finals two years on the bounce. As for filling water bottles holding up numbers etc etc all part of running a reserve side so no shame in it. But you did forget to mention the players brought into the club of which many went onto and still are playing for the first team.. Maybe more people should wear a wig.

Why I have since said they should give the job back to Scott is now the Chairman has left they can now go back to the way it was prior to the old chairman arriving when the team was doing better then Ok. I would also say that they should keep John Barker with the 1st team.

I wouldnt bother biting mate...a couple of new "posters" have chucked bait out there in the last day or so about records etc...league positions and cup finals dont lie mate. Rise above it and work on your juggling
