Kevin Gallen

No one used the word average other than you Rhodes

No but Horace indicated it in his post, if it was Roy McFarland or Colin Todd signing for Leverstock Green for example it would have been a different story

I have been involved with half a dozen ex pros thinking that they could cut the mustard in non-league after quitting the professional game. Alan West , of Luton Town and Burnley fame, and Ian Allinson, (Colchester and Arsenal) were examples of a successful transition, and worth every penny, but most thought that it was going to be an easy few quid when it isn't.

Horace - Yes but with all due respect Alan West and Ian Allinson aren't exactly in Kevin Gallen's league are they

They were both still fit to play!

Horace – So what are you saying, that Gallen isn’t fit hence his absence at Pancake Lane, surely he would only need to be 10% or 20% fit from his prime in the Premiership if that

There are many possible reasons why Mr Gallen only played the one game. Why are you so obsessed with this?

No Kevin Gallen again then for Leverstock Green on Saturday, no wonder they have hit a slump with just one win in their last six games excluding the 6-0 St Mary's Cup romp against Herts County League minnows Bovingdon last Wednesday:

Once again you have managed to spurt utter drivel from your [****!!****] Rhodes.

Pre Kevin Gallen the club won eight competitive games and lost once (in the FA Cup) - that is a slump most clubs would bite their right arm off to have.

Mate told me Callum Davenport is at Wotton Blue Cross UCL signed there last season he reckons. That is crazy! Stefan Moore at St Neots these are still young guys who less than ten years were in England's youth sides and playing prem footy!! It's one thing for a guy like Gallen who has had his career (and Marc Bircham at Kings Langley couple of years back) who are playing for a bit of fun with some old friends or something but for 20something lads what are they playing at???

You'd have thought Leyton Orient, Brentford, Barnet, Dagenham, afc Wimbledon or any of the Conference and conference south sides (london area) would have been a more likely destination. I hope the lad gets back. He would be more than welcome at Winslow though lol ;-))))))

Kevin Gallen just sighted on Sky Sports in the pre match build up for QPR v Chelsea! They never asked him why he's only played the one game for Leverstock Green!

I was interested to read this article from December 2005, Gallen certainly has friends in high places as there is nobody bigger than Morrissey is there, it makes you wonder why he agreed to sign on the dotted line for Leverstock Green in the first place:

Is it true that Morrissey is mates with QPR striker Kevin Gallen? asks Harry Bevill

According to a recent article in the League Paper, Morrissey met Gallen in Los Angeles in June - he was recording new album Ringleader Of The Tormentors, while the striker was in the city on holiday. Subsequently the pair became "email friends"; Gallen even sent Morrissey a personalised kit with 'Mozalini 10' on the back, "I've invited him to see a game when he's next back in England," said Gallen, himself the owner of Rangers' No10 shirt.

It's funny the people you meet from high places all them many miles away Rhodes.

Jonathan Ross met me in Florida in 1998, we didn't become 'e-mail' friends as he got very upset when he asked for MY autograph and I told him to fk off
