Wonder how GFC will get on if Ross Allen is picked up by another club or gets injured. All the reports seem to state that nearly all the goals are either scored or created by him. Is there a worry amongst GFC fans if this was to happen ?

Your quite right Ross Allen gets alot of goals for them but seeing them a number of times this season i would say its also down to the formation they play, so if you put Heaume, Dyer, or Rihoy they would take over his exploits.

 

I believe Rihoy was thier Priaulx League highest scorer for a number of years like bagging 50 plus in a league that only has 20 odd games.

 

To sum up i don't think it would end thier season they would miss him but could carry on quite happily.

I must confess to being in awe everytime i see guernsey play and have taken a keen interest with your Island and GFC having come over 3 times to watch them (Have Friends in Guernsey), i would wish you good luck for the rest of the season but you really won't need it......!

Smudge, I am led to believe that Guernsey FC did offer a pre-season friendly against a Forum X1 but the Forum were unable to raise a team therefore GFC did not decline the offer as you said.

 

You really should take up the offer of speaking to Steve Dewsnip or Mark Le Tissier when you get the chance, then you will be able to get facts about Guernsey F C rather than posting inaccuracies which you have been doing but that isn't your way is it.

 

I have spoken to Steve & Mark and they would welcome the opportunity have a chat, go on you know you want too.

unfortunatly smudges rather sad hobby is posting lies and complete nonsense about Guernsey. Please Smudge get your facts right before posting anything derogatory about Guernsey FC or say nothing at all.

You had a chance Tuesday Smudge but you slipped off back down the Kingfield arms !

 

Nigel,Please tell it as it is,I had a beer pre match in your bar which was packed.At half time,the people from Guernsey were in the Board room area,I had a Half time drink in your bar.After the game the said people were in the the Boardroom area,I had a drink at your bar.As Y.V.who had kindly taken me to Westfield,had arranged to meet Loop at the Kingfield Arms and was my lift home,I went there for the first time in my life,so not back down.During the game the said people were congregated on the Balcony with C.C.L Committee Members,and being the shy retiring person I am,did not think it right that I should intrude into their conversations.Hope that clears things up a little.Oh by the way,think you should look into your Fire Exit Entrance i am sure at least 10 PEOPLE GOT IN THAT WAY FOR NOTHING THE OTHER NIGHT.
