Awful..

I would like just 2 things:

1. For the ball to be played to feet and on the floor

2. At kick offs please do not hoof it to the side just to go out of play....whats wrong with playing it around the back and playing forward? We done the hoof wide last year and started to this season..IT DOESNT WORK IT JUST GIVES AWAY POSSESION EVERY SINGLE TIME

Bradbrook wins nothing in the air..

Not much else to say Other than today was pathetic and shocking. It would be funny if it wasn't for the fact that these 'players' get handsomely paid and we have to pay to see it. Not impressed with Smelt today (obviously - that mistake would be embarresing at Jackey Bakers in Sunday league). L. Ball looks so dodgy it's unreal- every header goes off his head the wrong way and every clearance is a big hoof up in the air. Avery looks out of his depth and unfit. Bodkin and Appiah both v good when they have the ball and totally disinterested when they don't. Once again Pooley looks a class above the rest, a real quality player. Also Stubbs surely has a place in the team but i don't think centre midfield in a 4-4-2 is it.

The Hendon number 9 impressed me today, caused problems all game. By the way, Hendon was also so poor today and will be nowhere near the top at the end of the season.

One thing i noticed today and at the Lowesroft is that when we go 2 or more goals behind, we do not have enough leaders or character to fight back. Sometimes I think we expect too much from these players, after all there is a reason they are at this level and not a level above.

Keeper very suspect & he dosent instill in me any confidence.Apart from his clanger he dosen't know or seem to want to come out to dangerous through balls when it's necessary..Having said that he has filled in a gap that was vacant & many thanks to him for that but surely his replacement can do better. His lack of height (though of course not his fault) also leaves him disadvantaged.

We will have to see I suppose if a change to Overland looks more secure..

Bodkin playing much much too deep when he should be planting himself on that wing (i.m.o.) where defenders allow others more space as they will be keeping an eye on him out there. (We are not seeing his skills or the best of him back there.)

Whole attacking force rather Inept to be honest all afternoon against,I must add,an equally poor top-of-the-league side.

There's a massive gap in class between Hendon & Lowestoft from what I've seen of the two & I think it won't be too long before they start dropping points & begin a drop back down the table on that showing & thats not me spouting sour grapes.

Back two of Hooley & Ball magnificent.Sorry, disagree with you about Ball though yes, sometimes he can miscue a header out but he does get EVERY header that comes his way which is a big plus. His clearances are rushed more these days too but overall a rock at the back.Hooley superb on a consistent level.

Sorry, but this will upset a few people but I haven't (in the games I've seen) seen that explosive & athletic Dan Stubbs of before. He isn't the same player as last season with his here, there & everywhere attitude.Seems to have lost some of his energy & sparkle.

Very poor game between to very mediocre teams with few chances all day for both sides.Hendon must be going home thinking how on earth they got away with a 2-0 victory, not that I'm saying we should have won because a 0-0 scoreline would have been spot on.

Again massively disappointed that once again good home form in front of a patient home crowd has not materialised.

Stubbs needs to be played on the wing...stubbs on one wing, bodkin on the other and have appiah up top on his own...that will work wonders IF we play the ball and don't play long ball..

We played lovely football 1st half v Wealdstone why cant we do that again?

Also Curtis Robinson MUST be in centre defence with Pooley and we need another left back cos dean hill is not the answer in my opinion...Hill in a defensive midfield / holding role will be better imo..

But we all player manager dont we! we all have our own ideas of who should play where!

I have only seen two home games but I have not been impressed. Whern CK goes into folding arms mode I think I know what he's thinking. How can these players do everthing right in training and then perform like this. My man of the match was Curtis way out in front with class even though not in his best position. Luke i'm afraid way out of his depth at this level. The back four have no confidence in him. I have a stiff neck from all the launching high balls the ball needs to be on the ground. Perhaps a fit Craig and the other goalie may help. Sorry Luke you were magnificent against us for Cray that wet Nov. afternoon two years ago but you look a bit shell shocked at the moment.

Did not create enough today but the wind down the tivoli road end was a significant factor and probably contributed to the farcical goal (with a large slice of inept goalkeeping).I thought Hendon were well organised and defensively kept our forward two quiet. Hendon will finish top half i predict but we had most play just could not create enough. Would have taken nil nil. Next two matches crucial to kick start our climb up league and start a good cup run to bring in some money.

Pre season everyone was optomistic for a good season . Was that apart from 1st game we played Welling who were a league above us the other teams we played were leagues below us so did this actually make us look better than we really are . Bodkin looks a class above when he`s playing in his right position but he spends so much time playing in the middle of the field he can look lost . Dan Stubbs runs around but his final touch is awful , he has to look up before passing but never does and gives away the ball . Our two frontmen today were frozen out the game today as well by a very good back 4 for Hendon . The only guy to show his worth was Curtis who through himself into everything he got and he also got in some great crosses . All in all today was bad with noooooo midfield creativity which is what Chris and the lads are lacking . We need someone in the middle who can create space and bring a differant momentom to the game . Im sure CK will work it out and the lads we have can crack the problem that seems to have set in and my last word again is for Stubbsy look up before you pass the ball you can do all the hard work then ruin it with your last touch , if you can do that you could be the guy who can take us on but at the mo no its not working .

Very poor game, but it was clearly heading to a 0-0 until a match-swaying decision: the blatant dive for the penalty. You could see it from the bar end: the bloke just threw himself over, there was no touch from the keeper. Couldn't believe the ref bought it. Yet again, the referee gets the big decision wrong. Having said that, we were poor (as were Hendon), and if we were still playing now, I don't think we would have scored.

The ref, having refused an earlier penalty appeal & i.m.o.probably felt he couldnt refuse another one so soon after.Thats the way SOME referees think unfortunately.I just wish they would give decisions on the basis of what had actually happened or didnt happen rather than thinking they have to even things up (which I'm sure they do on numerous occasions). The ref obviously knew they were unbeaten & top of the league too so that sometimes sways an official also.

OR did the lino indicate or flag for the penalty because the ref himself was a mile away from the incident though did seem whistle immediately, which was strange.I agree that even from the other end & in agreement with their fans AT the end of the incident (see their report) it was never a penalty & whoever indicated or gave the decison was/were absolutely well and truly fooled.Had it been to us of course I would be saying yippee but it wasnt & I'm saying we were hard done by.

A 0-0 score was & should have been the correct score because had it not been for that first goal of their's I couldnt see them scoring & no way were we going to score a goal on the day.

Sadly he didnt give us a blatant penalty up the other end. Shame we couldn't get into a position to make a further appeal for a penalty soon afterwards as I'm sure the ref would have evened things up for us too.

In regards to the Hendon Penalty that was Given, when an attacker gets in front of the defenders, is through in goal, knocks it past the Keeper and the keeper dives at the attackers feet it always looks like a penalty. In my opinion the Keeper leaves himself open to a penalty award against him by doing that. The attacker will always go down and/or drag his foot across the keeper to get contact - diving or clever play ? Clever play for me. Like it or not - diving, winning free kicks, cheating - whatever u want to call is it part of the game now and most of the time it works - the refs are not good enough to tell the difference most of the time. lowescroft did it, Hendon did it. When we tried to - Appiah's Penalty shout - for me didnt do it well enough, it looked a dive or no contact and correctly not a pen. My own personal opinion Is that blatant diving and cheating had no place in the game and obvious cases should be sent off. However the 'making yourself fouled' by leaving a foot in so u get contact Is clever play to win free kicks and pens. I seriously wouldn't be suprised if many top professional clubs practice this is training.
