St Francis Rangers 0-2 South Park

Not a great game but in the next round which is the main thing Bad Lee at home in the next round, SFR never looked like scoring and with Park missing a few players it was a good squad performance.

Molesey 1-1 Badshot Lea

Badshot Lea have to be one of the foulest clubs in the league.

On the pitch they play non-stop long ball and any pass less than 20 yards is a nice surprise. Off the pitch their management seemed more intent on tryng to wind up our bench than actually coach their team.

Elf Mole. Are you who i think you are ?

Well that depends on who you think I am!

Bookham 1-3 Westfield

Started ok and took an early lead and looked comfortable but Bookham equaliser and we were poor rest of the half but were fortunate enough to grab a goal right on half time

Couple of minor tactical changes half time snuffed out Bookhams only threat and we dominated most of the second half and got the all important third. Bookham rallied late on and hit the bar. I think their biggest problem is the pitch they play on as they arent a bad footballing oufit

Windsor 3 Oxford City Nomads 0

Overall i thought the score flattered us yesterday! Early pen then Windsor lost their way until the second goal came against the run of play! Then Oxford shot themselves in the foot by getting a player sent off for a stupid challenge! Highlight of the match was Kyle Anthony's quality goal in the second half where he ghosted through from the half way line before smashing a shot in from just inside the box!

A lively game though and an entertaining afternoon!!

Agreed that the score was a bit flattering. Could have been very different if the ref had been less lenient with your right back. Once down to ten men the game was effectively dead although they still gave it a good go.

As you say, the third goal was the pick of the bunch, great run and smash from the defender.

Spot on there NLN, we did not creat until it was too late, what did not help you was loosing your no 9, was causing us problems prior to getting injured. Good luck in the next round

To be fair he has caused problems for defence's at Step 1/2 in the non league pyramid. Unfortunatley he has a dodgy knee but I hope he will be fit for Guernsey

I have to disagree slightly. I actually thought we tightened up in the second half and, bar the header which hit the top of the bar (and was the big centre half getting his head on something in a crowd rather than a clear chance), I don't remember you having a clear cut chance second half. In the first half you obviously had the goal, and the save I made where the guy was offside and tucked it away.

Anyway, I think what we can agree on is that that pitch will not help anyone and certainly does not help your style of play. I am sure you will do a lot better away from home. Best of luck

Yes Henry, we did not create or look to create anything in the second half until the header and the fact we only created the chances mentioned means we lacked a right pass ect and no the pitch does not help us.
