Lightweight's Sam

Romboro

Recommended Posts

I've just had a phone call from Lightweight and it seems that Sam to use his own words "is still with us at the moment but is in palliative care" so it seems that she is slowly slipping away under this specialcare regime so there will be no chance of her recovering this time.

Sorry about the misleading information I posted on this forum but obviously there was a slight misunderstanding of the news that was given to the Boro yesterday about the situation which was no doubt cause by the emotion of the moment.

I will update you with any further news when it arrives with the club.

Hi. I've just received the follow text from Lightweight the content of which I thought I should pass on to you straight away! Or I would if this site allowed me to paste text which I have even put through and copied via my word service. Not the first time either.

The gist of the message is that Sam has amazed everyone by coming out of her coma and is now being treated as a normal (or as normal as can be expected under the circumstances) patient. Lightweight thanks everyone for their support during this difficult period for him and his family.

I've just heard from Paul that Sam passed away at a quarter to four this morning (Tuesday)!

Apparently she took a turn for the worse on Sunday, rallied a liittle yesterday then slipped away early today!

:bigcry: :bigcry: :bigcry:

Never met the lady, but she was always good for a bit of banter in the shoutbox. RIP
