Prediction League 2011/12

Whats the over and under on Ampthill red cards?

In fairness it was played in good spirit..., a few meaty challenges and a couple of handbags but no different to most games.

Cranfield could have been 3 down in first 20mins if it wasnt for their No 29 ^_^ but gradually got back in the game and took the lead with a quality goal on the half hour.Ampthill unlucky to go in losing at half time though.

Second half was a different story!

2-0 up on the hour, by the time Ampthill pulled one back with 7min to go, Cranfield should have been 6 up and thats without the two stonewall penalties not awarded.

Fair play to the Ampthill contingent for being so gracious in defeat.....

Good to finally meet up with the Anthill Mob :D good luck for rest of season

PS....one booking each NF

TimmyTownie1 - Not a very convincing win though by the sounds of it particularly as Sun Postal Sports appear to be struggling badly this season

which is what i meant by 'a win is a win'

they didnt have a good first game, neither did we. we battled last night whilst they tried to smash us up in the air and we got 3 points. first win of the season and a clean sheet. cant ask for more than that from starting line up including 7/8 U18s last night...

Rhodes is only having a dig coz KTFC showed him the door and he's still smarting from it

You'd think the number of doors he has been shown he would be used to it by now

tried the same Saturday too

Sun Postal Sports have always had a 'robust' side, never afraid of mixing it, they seem to breed them tough in darkest Watford

Ref Off Ref - I'm wondering whether Kentish Town really wanted promotion in 2007/2008, the season we won 6-0 at New Bradwell St Peter with that Barcelona type side. I think the quality of the team Clement Temile had produced shocked the Club's hierarchy who had previously run things like a Sunday morning Hackney Marshes outfit and they were totally out of their depth.

Ref Off Ref - I'm surprised our paths didn't cross that season, weren't you at the 3-3 draw at the Copthall Stadium

I have a feeling that Ampthill Town will be in for a bit of a rude awakening tomorrow:

Tokyngton Manor 6 Ampthill Town 2
