I had a conversation with smudge in chat last night and for the moment I will give him the benefit of the doubt.

 

From my side I just want to watch football and share in the buzz that goes with it.

Or you can fly, sometimes you can get cheap flights with aurigny, flyby or blue islands.

 

From the GFC website you can book travel too, advantageis that if the game is called off you are protected I believe.

I've seen a couple of the Guernsey games over here of course. Good team want to play football rather than fight like some clubs and also have good fans and committee. Publicity for the league is minimal as it's all about them. I understand that whilst all clubs will be playing over Christmas and new year they are not. If correct, is that fair on the other clubs? and then why should this be? There away results change over home results, perhaps due to team availability. I.E at Eversley and the midweek fixture at Hartley. Why did they not join a Hampshire league and get direct flights into Southampton or even sussex closer to Gatwick. Sadley it's the grey suits at the CCL doing everything they can for them when they do nothing for the interests of their original members. When did anyone see a league rep at a div 1 game other than where Guernsey are playing?

Hey guys slag off old Smudge,i love it,Manors were you playing NO.Trebor what you read in the press is lies anyway.Guernsey Wag,just imagine you have just lost 5-0,and your the losing team,do you want to hear a speech from GUERNSEY F.C,how grateful you are that they have been allowed in the League.Have it on good authority that the Guernsey PLAYERS DONT STAY LONG AND CHAT.NICE Guy what media coverage most of it is generated from this site,check out google.Guernsey Wag,yes you are right the players mingled when on the BANK Holiday fixtures,but that was in the U.K.not Guernsey.So if i COME OVER CAN YOU PUT ME UP,AS BEING A PENSIONER ,MONEY IS TIGHT.GY1 I could post all day on here,take the mighty Westfield,won there first 5 games,match details from N.L.N. BUT WHEN THEY GET WOOPED BY eversley,all is quiet on the western front,await jurgs violins.You will all realise in time that they al hate each other,no friends in football at any level.bUT IN smudge honest people have a FRIEND.
