Ref Off Ref - 11.39pm and it sounds like you've just rolled in from the local having drowned your sorrows following Ampthill Town's 6-1 home defeat tonight

Lol I have bought this thread back a few times and there has been nothing. My post early in the thread I am still pleased with but Tik Tok look likely to last beyond Xmas but lets see about next year eh?

Winslow Boy – I'm a sh*t stirrer looking for a reaction so my post has been editted because I'm a numpty. You can probably guess what I really posted.

Hahaha brilliant. Nothing stopping you pm'ing me Rhodes but of course then your nonsense wouldn't get the public effect you crave would it?

Ref Off Ref - Actually, come to think of it, you must have secretly been rubbing your hands last night if your current keeper was between the sticks with your lad fit again in three weeks time.

Yes Rhodes, hadn't been in long last night after our 6-1 hiding from Cockfosters.

I'm sure though everyone would rather hear your version of events as to what happened, after all better coming from someone who has a reliable source than someone who was actually AT THE GAME

Following taken from the recent SSML Management Committee Meeting Minutes.

5.4. It was reported that Tokyngton Manor owed the League a total of £320. The committee agreed that if the outstanding sum was not paid by 31 October, the club would be disqualified from the League and all future games would be treated as unfulfilled fixtures. The club is to be charged and told that persistent breaches of rule after a second offence will result in fines being increased by 50%.

From this month's minutes

It was reported that Tokyngton Manor had now paid money outstanding to Amersham Town as part of their ground sharing agreement. The club still owed the League a sum of £315 and it was agreed that the Treasurer liaise with them re a payment plan.

What a really well run club! Why don't the league do what they said?

Well, at least you can't blame Rhodes on this one, as he has no involvement with any SSMFL Club :D

Very true

Doog Is King - To be fair I believe that was only the South Midlands Senior Floodlit Cup

They also pulled out of the Challenge Trophy last month when they were due to play Royston away as they couldnt raise a side.

If we are taking about the South Midlands League Challenge Trophy then Amersham Town did not play Royston Town in the competition. Both Royston Town and Amersham Town were beaten in Round Two, Royston Town losing to Bletchley Town and Amersham Town losing to Broxbourne Borough V&E.

The competition was the South Midlands Floodlit Cup and as I am aware (looking through the League minutes) no decision has been made regarding the game at present.

Is it just me or does it look like they only pull out of games where they are likely to get a hammering? Edited by The Doog is King

Doog is King - I've never known anybody to hate a Club as much as you hate Amersham Town

Doog is King - I thought Winslow Boy was bad with Buckingham Town, what with Keeps chip on his shoulder it must be a Black Country thing to hate so much
