How far can we go in the FA Cup this year?

I must admit I haven't seen as much of the Chins as I'd like over the last two seasons due to work commitments (Funny how everyone wants there garden done on a Saturday and it's always raining)so I thought I'd get the views of you who have.

We appear to have a fairly decent side and if we can keep pulling out home ties then maybe we can progress through the rounds.

If we do get a bit of luck then I think maybe we could reach the 4th round and hopefully get a Premiership side, whata great day ou that would be!

I can dream I guess :-)

I think that we will go through to the next round because I beleive that we are stronger than Carshalton. When it really matters this team will play to its potential. As for the round(s) thereafer, it really depends on who we draw. I'm going to predict that we will reach the first round proper and then face a derby with Orient!

Well when we beat Carshalton we'll be in the 4th qualifying round, and thats when all the conference sides get entered, hopefully avoid one of them, a nice home draw to someone with the same Caliber as Basilricay, then in to the 1st round proper, hopefully someone easy, another nonleague team would be good, then the 2nd round we'll have Dagenham at Dagenham, then to the third round where we will draw a nice away ie to Manchester Utd, force a replay, and then play them at the stadium, and then i dont know what will happen from there!

I'm not really sure what the rules are now on non league sides being drawn at home to Premiership teams in the cup. I think the outcry with Farnborough last season changed alot of things.

It would be up to the local Police, I don't think we could have a big game at out ground, although we would probably put on free coaches to the bigger grounds i would suspect. If we get that far <img src="/images/graemlins/smile.gif" alt="" /> <img src="/images/graemlins/smile.gif" alt="" /> <img src="/images/graemlins/smile.gif" alt="" />

Unfortunately I don't think there are many grounds in non league football especially in the feeder leagues that could safely accomodate a Premiership side and the sheer volume of support they are likely to bring.
