Canterbury FC still coming

I know its not Margate related(directly) but I follow their progress & its good to still see them moving on up.

Topping the Kent League,albeit having played two games more than their nearest rivals. I know it's still early in the season but it's good to see them progressing still.

Absolutely agree Cookie - great to see Canterbury, Whitstable and Faversham in the mix now and looking forward to a few of the others, Herne Bay, Deal perhaps.

What I meant to say was that I am pleased to see Canterbury doing so well after all this time and with Whitstable, Faversham now in the Ryman it would be nice to see Canterbury and others such as Herne Bay and Deal in the mix as well...but I'm having difficulty editing!

I think that overall i just about agree-it seems the north kent coast-all the way up to chatham and sittingbourne is 'where its at '.

 

It does of course impinge on the attendance at MFC-as they can't all be away when margate are at home so if perhaps 2/3 of these 5 are at home the same time as margate-i would think that probably takes 20 people per club aeay from MFC-so MFC attendance down by say 60 people per game because of the relative success these nouveau ryman/Kent league clubs are currently enjoying ?

On a similar theme, I see Guernsey FC are now unbeaten and top of Div 1 Combined Counties League, with a 5-0 win over last years league winners, attendance, captive audience I know but ......... 1640 !!!!
