Cracking result, and pleased with the performance. But, as others have said, really should've been more. Almost seemed apologetic in front of goal at times; we must be more ruthless. Looked a lot more solid with the 4-4-2 formation, much prefer it. Curtis looked very good on the left wing, and Bradders and Appiah are starting to form a solid partnership upfront. Could be an intriguing season!

Oh, and of course, Bradbrook's free kick really was superb. Absolute rocket, no keeper would have saved that. Didn't realise he had it in him!!

Really agree with Cookie in post above , have been really impressed with Pooley so far and so was pleased he was made captain yesterday. Also Appiah looks a very good player too.

Sounding good-and a very level headed interview with CK post match-no-one getting carried away -and realising that at the moment we are very much a mid table side.

 

Interesting game on saturday-sterner test.

Looking forward to witnessing myself how Curtis plays in left midfield-never saw that one coming !!

 

Amongst other things-if Curtis is back in the team we have another'two weapons-his aerial ability at set pieces,and he has a longisg throw which we have lacked -not just in attack-but to help clear defensively.
